FFS, they're both Germans... what language do you expect them to speak together?
Whichever, but consistency it key. English when they are alone in the room, then German when joined by an Englishman is not right.

Maybe they just don't like him? Nothing wrong with that, you can't be friends with everyone.
But not the case. Vettel and Hamilton are always chatting and larking about - as you know.

They started talking in German. Switched to English when Lewis came in, returned to German to finish their private conversation.

Anyone who speaks several languages swaps easily from one to the other... stop looking for silly reasons...

That worked out sweet for Lewis, honestly thought rosberg had his number catching him when they were both on slicks, well deserved bit of good luck.
Is that what live timing was showing? Rosberg didn't seem to have LH pace all weekend. Behind in qualifying and behind in the race.

First F1 race i've watched in a few years ( since the engine change ) , position swapping all done in the pits , boring... little real racing.

And this was the best race of the season ?? christ.
Well said..

Good race recurrent standards, but that just illustrates how bad it is.

We also need way more cars on the grid.
Really?!

Come on, it wasn't a vintage race but surely the 3-4 cars running close together at the beginning and then the uncertainty with the rain made it watchable?! It certainly did for me, I really enjoyed the race even if I'm a little disappointed at the result.

I know it's not as good as some people would like but this was a half decent race especially compared to the two previous, can't people at least leave the moaning be for a bit?

Exactly, Hamilton is never that talkative in the cool down room. Why do people look for issues in nothing?

For the record the first laps were cracking.

Rosberg was taking up to 2 secs a lap out of him, shut down IIRC 6 sec gap or so in 3-4 laps

Clearly we were watching different races.

Oh well. See you again in a few years time perhaps?
Last time i was at Silverstone watching the cars fly though bridge ( blind ) at 190 mph was something to behold , watching overtakes though there was chilling. This pitstop lark spoilt it for me. Good result for Lewis tho.

The latter.

Dirty fkers, Vettel and Rosberg. Speaking English before Lewis arrived and then German.
It seems to be Rosberg who starts that, but not absolutely sure. Petty way to exclude his team mate.
Lewis should have said a few choice words in German

Actually the inability of either merc to overtake (until it rained ) given their clear pace advantage is problematic.
If Williams had pitted at the same time as Mercedes it is likely that it would have been status quo, as it was with rosberg.
