How good did the Merc look then. Hitting apexs, smooth, early power so it looking like Merc still out of reach of Ferrari and Will

Ham won't like that. All out attack in FP2 got to show Rosberg who's boss.

For the record, I have three grown kids - one of whom coincidentally is around the same age as Mr Hamilton - and he has assured me that Lewis looks a p**** in that picture. Out of the mouths of babes etc............

Anyhow, comments on the driver's attire looks like being more interesting than watching two Mercedes cars running away in the sunshine.

Poll of the week: How many times will the Mercs lap both McLarens before the McLarens both break?

Hamilton got the decision to abandon McLaren right.

Sat at copse watching the cars go up to becketts and they sound great. A lot louder than I was expecting.
Yeah but! People will be more interested in critiquing Hamilton for his dress sense, friends, girlfriend, etc.
Shock horror!

Hamilton wears sun glasses. Hold the front page headlines.

Oh and they are hinged, not clip-ons by the look of them. smile

Merc might be in a spot of bother for covering the car when it broke down.

Maybe Rosberg stole Hamilton's sunglasses, and did not want anyone to see them. smile

Nice to see a driver polishing something other than their helmet there.

If he wears sunglasses, the haters complain about him hiding behind them. He gets those flip-up jobs, and the haters complain about his dress sense.

The only common I can find here is that the haters complain.

Haters gonna hate.

If they're witterin on about lewis' dress at least they're not diluting grown up discussion... I'd say make a special thread for people to sob about lewis attire on but I doubt the attention spans concerned are up to finding it every time they need a little outburst.

Whereas you wittering on about haters is soooo grown up wink

I'm not a hater in any case, in fact he's my favourite driver and has been since '07. Doesn't mean his attire can't raise a chuckle from time to time. Didn't realise it was such a contentious issue on here tbh.

Unfortunately PH is full of Richards who can't see anything but black or white.

Anything less than positive = hater
Anything less than negative = fanboy

Hoping Lewis can dial the car in tomorrow in FP3 and take pole. AND get a good start off the line tomorrow.

McLaren - they seem to just be getting it more wrong (is this possible?) as time goes on. Fingers crossed they actually improve soon.

Now, is that Ferrari pace their true pace or will they also be a good 0.5s behind the Mercs come race day?

Indeed, looking forward to Hamilton getting a good start and winning, hope there's some competition from Williams and Ferrari although it would be great to see Rosberg drop points. Not bothered about McLaren (other than it's a shame for Jenson in his last season), indeed I've never been a fan because if I support any team it's been Williams and prior to that Lotus (proper Lotus).
