Hi,

I've been trying all morning to get through to Silverstone to discuss parking without success. Having bought weekend tickets and a parking pass they arrived while I was on holiday and were returned by the courier company before redelivery could be made. I decided rather than risk another failed delivery that I would collect them from the circuit on Friday. Does anyone know or have experience of arriving at the circuit without a pass? I'm hoping I can get in with just the booking email

I assume traffic will be pretty heavy over the weekend. Is there much difference between M1 and M40 routes from London?

You don't need a parking pass to enter the car parks at Silverstone. You just need one to avoid a parking ticket!! I would keep calling, try 30 mins before closing time.

I've tried both M1 and M40 to get to Silverstone and found the M1 a lot better.

SSorry for the thread hijack! Does anyone know if I will be ok bringing a minibus to the circuit car park? I have a car park pass (might even have a spare one of the op needs one)

they tow any car without a pass.....doubt you can buy one on day

a few years ago the silverstone village schools sold parking (just a short walk, with locals selling bacon butties and coffee on way

I've had similar problems getting hold of them. I posted a message on their twitter feed and they replied to it pretty quickly. Might help the OP ?

Does the parking pass arrangement mean you can no longer pop up on a whim to watch the Friday practice sessions?

On a few occasions I've decided at the last minute (normally weather dependent) to visit on the Friday and bought a ticket on the gate.

If you parking pass doesn't turn up try the Windmill campsite, convenient and easy to get out of (disclaimer - I haven't been to Silverstone [for a GP anyway] for ten years)
