Kimi's front wing has just fallen off.

Cars seem to suffering structural failures all over the place. Not very good.

Weird one, what's flipped it over? I don't think it's the start of the culvert/ditch, nor the advertising hoarding.
Apparently it was suspension failure on the right rear.

Edit: sorry I didn't read your post properly. It looked to me like it was just down to the front right suspension breaking and snagging the wheel under the nose.

Actually looking at it some more I think it's the front right that flips it. It's wobbling around after the impact and looks to bite into the tarmac.

Yes, I agree. I misread your post and thought you were asking about the initial crash.

Motorsport is dangerous.

Especially with bits just falling off.

Yes it is dangerous - but it doesn't instill confidence when bits of your car collapse for no obvious reason.

Slow speed roll was fairly tame but did a lot of damage - tub could be a gonner if it cracked the roll hoop.

Red Bull are looking like they might have made a small improvement.

Looks to me like the car tripped over it's own lose nearside front wheel. I understand why they are tethered to the car (stops them flying off), but everything has an unpredictable downside.

Yep first time I've seen a down side to the wheel tether system.

As someone said earlier, Red Bulls are looking to have improved but despite that Hamilton is still approaching 1/2 second quicker than anyone else.

Lewis for pole! smile

Well it looks like business as usual..... Merc 1-2 with a massive gap to Ferrari.... although Redbull have popped up in there, I guess with it being more of an aero track.

Disappointing how none of the teams appear to be able to make any significant progress on Mercedes dominance.

And considering how good Ron says the car is shouldn't Mclaren be further up on this circuit? Redbull are....

Just watching the GP2 qualifying and over half the GP2 cars are quicker than the Marussia cars.
1.2 behind Ericson and 1.4 behind Grojean !

1.5 million euros to run at GP2 car and how much for a F1 car - they really screwed up the F1 regs

And sound better, are more exciting to watch and the quali gaps are always tiny....

So the fastest GP2 would slot in behind Ericson? Is that right?
