It will be. Certain tracks will disappear for a year at most. It's all mind games with Bernie being the eventual winner
You're probably right. Bernie certainly has some cheek. He's always dissing the tracks, talking F1 down, criticising this that and the other, and generally being extremely negative for someone who is meant to be the promoter. And yet he recently said drivers should stop criticising the tyres in public.
Pot... kettle...

Feel a bit sorry for Rosberg... not sure he ever really had a chance with that old engine? OK probably wouldn't have beaten Lewis anyway but still.
Great to see Raikkonen right up there for a change and beating Seb on merit will be satisfying for him. If they get a good start the Ferrari drivers could work together tomorrow to make life very hard for Mercedes.

Ruined quali for me. Ferrari a lot closer to Lewis than I expected, and he will probably spend the whole race worrying about his engine, Nico's is a bit leggy too. What penalty would Nico have had, if they fitted a new engine?
No penalty it is an 'old' engine that fitted. Most likely why Rosberg can't compete with even Ferrari and may even struggle to fend off Williams tomorrow........... I agree. Difficult to know just how good a job Lewis did really.... he seemed to imply his lap wasn't all that good.
Nico said in his interview that he feels the gap between Ferrari and Merc is down to Merc having issues rather than Ferrari gaining a step. Unfortunately I would have to agree -although the media wont miss a chance to hype up the Ferrari challenge as they have done all season.
I'm expecting the race result to be similar to qualifying and If Lewis gets a clean start he will drive into the distance and win easily. Probably Vettel finishing ahead of Raikkonen - Seb will either get the jump at the start or Ferrari will ensure he gets superior strategy (undercut) if necessary.

I don't know how Jenson manages to do those interviews. Talk about gritted teeth and biting your tongue.
I thought it was a strange answer. Basically refusing to level any criticism at the chassis instead saying its 'a package'. Has been a few comments during the year which have clearly mocked the Honda power unit. Maybe a very professional answer to avoid too much direct criticism of his employer.Hungrymc said:

I think the 'we have a great chassis' line has been seen for what it is over the last few races.... basically total BS. They have a decent chassis but it isn't the second best or whatever other crazy claims were made about it earlier in the year. McLaren have issues in every department.
Side note - notice how after Spa Alonso was talking himself up for beating Jenson (despite the fact Jenson was down on power), yet after today Jenson says something about out qualifying Alonso....... Fernando could learn something there. .

Indeed. If McLaren were so great in the chassis dept they'd have been up there with M-B last year with their M-B powerplant. And they weren't. McLaren have issues in every department.
I fear McLaren have lost their way somewhat, and it turns out it wasn't all Martin Whitmarsh's fault after all.
