That's great and everything, however for most people anybody that is an unsporting cheat is a knob head. Shame really as he was an outstanding driver and didn't need to be cheating knob head to win.
Hamilton doesn't need to be a knob head either but still................

I agree, and one the evidence of 2014 Ricciardo is a better driver than Vettel.
And Kvyat is a better driver than Ricciardo, on the evidence of 2015.

Don't believe anything you read on the internet. Luca d-M probably thought he was doing the family a favour when he casually stated to a Media-Exaggerater (modern journalist) that Michael's progress has failed to match his own expectations. Now he'll be forced to clarify and the family forced to comment and say that Luca was "Not speaking on behalf of the official sources".

Well, not sure of the stats but I'm sure Alonso has had the larger share of bad luck this season; I may be wrong. And Button is underrated so either way; fair play. But Alonso was at his very peak when Lewis was a rookie and whilst matched on points, Hamilton finished ahead in the championship due to better overall finishing positions...

In any case, they are all stellar. As I say, it doesn't make what Hamilton has said wrong...
Alonso missed the first race don't forget.

Hamilton can say what he wants about the other drivers but he's only had to beat Rosberg in the last 2 seasons and he will never be remembered as one of the great drivers.
Hamilton will be in the motorsport and Britian's history books and not just because of his championships. Sadly, the above is wishful thinking on your part...and more to do with your attitudes than actual fact.

I can't honestly think why you would say that...hmmmm... thinly disguised, but I'm not blind. Grow up "Superbad"
Oh lordy - why are Lewis' fans so bloody trigger happy defensive.....

I think he means Rosberg wont be remembered as a great.

Regarding Luca Di Montezemolo's message about Michael...unfortunately I think its the way with many of these things....I'm fairly sure the Schumacher camp will be unhappy with the constant leaking. They clearly don't like it and it can't be fun.

Due to the sad current state it's hard now to discuss the launch control found in the Beneton, the black flags, the deliberate turn in after a big mistake, the deliberate attempt to take out JV. I imagine there is also other tech stuff that was never found or hushed up. But hey

OP didn't say he said anything wrong, just seems disrespectful/daft when MS is unable to respond due to life threatening illness.
would it make a difference if he was dead?

how does his current situation change what he did back then?
It doesn't change it, pal, its just, most folks are keeping a good thought for MS right now. I was a fervent Hill fan, but I think it is poor taste to vent on a person in his state. I don't think LH switches his brain on before he opens his mouth at times.
Look out, he's called you "pal"!

I don't know if its already been mentioned? Anyone here who speaks German can accurately translate the article and is it a case of a media troll (modern day journalist) sexing up the context to get more traffic/attention?

I am not sure exactly what the words where but if you can imagine a question like

Any news on Schumacher?

This gets the response

There is no good news.

It doesnt actually mean anything. It might mean he's at feaths door, on the other hand it might mean he is similar to how he was last time the family gave an update, or it might mean he is progressing as well as expected.

Quick precis - Hamilton asked whether he thought he was better then Schumacher by Schumacher obsessed German reporter. Hamilton, bored by being consistently (ie over a period of months) asked the same question, gives the journalist what he wants & says yes & tells him why. Journalist writes article claiming Hamilton has no respect for Schumacher.

What hasn't been seen here is the clarification Hamilton was forced to give to the German press.

In short, anybody hoping for decent, un-biased or even logical journalism is better off ignoring anything German journalist write on motorsport, cars in general or football.
