So it finally looks like it has started to snow.

A smaller rally is better than no rally I suppose!

Has the potential to be quite an interesting rally still if the weather cooperates.

Good shout, I'd forgotten it was starting this weekend. Bought WRC+ in November too. Need to set some reminders!

Well this weekend could either be a brilliant, mixed up rally or a total farce....should be fun!

Really looking forward to seeing how Breen gets on in the Ds3, these conditions really are not what he needs!

Sad to see Meeke crash out in Monte Carlo. He seemed to be actually keeping up with Ogier.

Looks like Ogier will have the advantage all weekend again by being first on the road. I suspect it will get properly chopped up come the second run through!

You've got to laugh at the fact that Evans is quicker in the WRC 2 car than Camilli is in the WRC car!

Unbelievable really, hitting a rock left exposed by the earlier runners; not crashing or binning it as I've seen people describe it....

Rather the bad luck now, than next year when it does matter.

None of today has been on WRC+ - any ideas why not?

In a way I'm looking forward to seeing the Meeke incident, from what I've read from various places it would be very wrong to call it a crash/mistake!

Standard day for Ogier. Even damage from a watersplash in the morning, then being stopped by the Police on a road section didn't put him off.

As for JML oh bloody dear, must be quite tough being the 3rd driver at VW now!

The onboards are at very best uploaded in the evening, and the live stages are tomorrow and the power stage. Really hoped for more this year if honest!

WRC+ needs to offer far more than what what is provided currently. It's 2016 - WRC coverage just isn't cutting it at the moment; which is why the interest just isn't there. Look for the Malcolm Wilson interview on Speedcafe.com

After Rolex24 and Bathurst 12 hours both trending on Twitter the last few weekends, I can confidently say that Rally Sweden will not be doing likewise.

I'm just glad it's gone ahead after the wrong weather problems.

Looking at that pic of the rock it looks massive. Watching the on board, you can hardly see it and there's not much noise or movement when the car hits it. Unlucky. Is that just a massive time penalty? He's the only one that's getting close to Ogier atm, so whilst Citroen are likely spitting feathers, his performance notwithstanding rocks is pretty good.

Edit: Just found out: Rally2 rules means re-entering with 5 minute time penalty. Glad he still has a chance to get some points.

I've always thought Ogier had the luck of the green. He's made mistakes which have cost him relatively nothing but would have ruined the rallies of others.

Just look at today, he goes off into the tree's, hits a few but is able to carry on with little damage, while poor Meeke doesn't make a mistake but still has to retire after hitting a buried rock!

Rotten luck for Meeke again! I guess Ogier and Mikkelsen used up all the luck by hitting trees and carrying on...

I have to say though, it still bugs me the one-eyed approach the wrc.com media people have to commenting on advantage/disadvantage of road positions. They say that Ogier pulled out a lead on the morning loop but was disadantaged by his road position in the afternoon snow. No mention at all about how the morning conditions gave him the advantage and disadvantaged the drivers further down the order.

I'm enjoying it, great stage from Paddon! Took 24s out of Ogier and now 8.8s off the lead.
