Kvyat for the chop mid season?

The car has been crap for the last two years, arguably the Toro Rosso has been the better car to drive if not actually faster. Also he is teamed up against someone almost everyone rates extremely highly and a lot of people think is better than a 4 time WDC. It is pretty hard to shine under such circumstances.
I suspect if he were at TR with less pressure and up against Sainz or Verstappen he would be holding his own. It may have been too soon to move him to the main team but people are comparing him to Maldonado which is just ridiculous.
Yes it was a mistake in Russia (though not as bad as many are making out, the second contact was arguably a racing incident), but he is coming off the back of a brilliant move and unexpected podium in China. This just shows the line between brilliance and total failure is tiny. He he is still young and relatively inexperienced.......other drivers like Perez and Grosjean have been given time to mature and come good.
I'm just not a fan of the way Redbull seem to dispose of their drivers. I think assuming no further disasters I think he at least deserves a switch back to TR. I also think Verstappen may regret pushing to get into the main team so quickly, it is quite likely he could get chewed up and spat out in exactly the same way.
Actually the car's been pretty good over the past two years which is why it's won races despite having a crap engine. It maybe wasn't as good as the merc until recently but it's been as good as anything else. That's hardly casual racism
Well he described in a very negative way Kvyat's manner as being "obtuse and unapologetic" and "not that smart". He then went on to apply that description to a whole group of people because apparently being that way is 'typical' for them. Change the word Russian to Black or Jew and tell me his comment isn't racist or at least pretty offensive.

Red Bull could swap Verstappen-Kvyat as early as Spanish GP
Being reported now as a possibility. I think it will be a knee jerk reaction if Kvyat gets pushed back to TR.
IMO, the first hit was his own error and drivers with better spatial awareness would have avoided the second hit.
Certainly the onboards from some other drivers showed better awareness than Kvyat:
Russia's chaotic start - the unseen onboard angles

Actually, I think this is just a choreographed leak to put the fear of God into Kvyat and he'll still be in the car for Spain. It really is last chance time for him now though, he's got a couple of races to prove himself and I'm sure Verstappen will be in the RB for the test just in case. Spotted this also, although pointing to the swap being made straight away.

Red Bull have always been aggressive with their drivers within the 2 teams, bringing them up quickly like Vettel or Ricciardo, or dumping them like Buemi, Alguersuari, Bourdais, Vergne. Other than Webber, Vettel and Coulthard, there aren't many drivers who stay long. I think changing drivers mid season would be a new one for them if it happens though.
