Got a feeling its going to be a bit tit-for-tat this weekend. So will Nico or Lewis be at fault this weekend?

If Nico parks it or reverses it in Quali he has to get penalised this time.

Even though it seems the stewards always protect the rich kid from Monaco.

Great, the first reply and the tinfoil hats are already on.

Given last race's shenanigans, I'd expect everything to be squeaky clean here. If they qualify 1-2 though, that first corner....

I could see a RB sneaking a front row spot at Monaco though. It seems like a track they should go well at. That could really put a cat amongst the pigeons.

Yup. It's the only way to make this borefest of a race interesting.

There's our answer.

The simple fact is the vast majority of motorsport fans in Britain WANT it to be Nico's fault. So it will be. Regardless of who would be to blame.

Can't agree. The vast majority of true Motorsport fans, assuming they still watch F1, aren't interested in the puerile willy waving that pervades this site.

Actually I'd expect it to be Hamilton's fault for the rest of the year since he is now so far behind with a decreasing number of races that the sensible thing to do for Mercedes Management would be to back Rosberg for the WDC

I'd actually be very happy for both Mercs to be out of it, pretty fed up with both of them.

Would make it far more exciting.

Couldn't agree more the last race was great to watch.

Well yes and no - depends how you define motorsport fans.

Maybe I should modify that to 'the F1 audience' as the vast majority of them are pretty casual.

Would be nice.

I can't see Lewis and Nico really being allowed to race this weekend though.

I also agre with cgt2 - there seems to be something of a race to the bottom in terms of childish sniping between both drivers and fans.

Maybe it is what happens inevitably when there isn't someone else to focus on.

Rain is forecast is it not? In which case I can't see Nico winning. But then again, I can see a LOT of carnage....

Sunny for qualifying, showers for the race. Forecasts this far out are still not hugely accurate.

Would be interesting if the race has showers and sunny spells to see who manages to stay on slicks and who dives in and out

Could be good for Button if the car can make it up the hill...
