You have to cancel to get the 50% off TV bundles to show up in "MySky", after which call up the Q team who should sort you out. Essentially 50% off any TV package, plus £12 for Q, plus £30 up front per box.
Great tip thanks. Have been on 50% off tv, free line rental and £20 80mb BB for a while. Should be moving in October - will be going in hard to get a deal on Q.

. . . just buying Now TV day pass for the 11 races that aren't on C4 makes a lot of sense, and only £77 for the year.
That's been my method this year. On top of that I was unable to see one Sky only race, and will probably have to miss another, so it is even cheaper for me.

I looked at paying for F1 via Sky but when you have to spread the cost over fewer than half the races, then it makes it an expensive exercise.

No, in reply to the original question, but I don't wish to waste 15 Sunday's a year, sat in front of the telly every weekend.
Problem is its getting harder to avoid the race results if you have a smart phone.

Not wanting to sit in front of the telly every weekend is precisely why Sky F1 is worthwhile. I record the lot including practise. Then watch as much as I have time for.
Agreed not stumbling across the result can be tricky but having worked many Sundays over the years I have a fairly fool proof system.
Again though, that's all well and good for those of us that enjoy the legacy HD contract. Very expensive for a non sport fan otherwise.

Random double post!

I rarely watch the races live, but haven't found avoiding the result too difficult. It helps that I'm not on ttbook every 5 minutes!

A bit of a thread hijack here, but Sky Sports F1 HD is now on channel 408 (I don't know if it's moved for Virgin Media customers), as the new Sky Sports Mix HD channel will be taking channel 407.

Wasn't it originally 408 and moved to 407?

Sainsbury's have NowTV2 boxes for £25 including a month of Sky Sports. I bought a job lot of those, kept the Sky Sports passes and knocked the boxes out for £18 on eBay. Probably the cheapest way you'll get Sky Sports F1.

Interesting that the new free Sky Sports Mix channel is simulcasting the F1. I wonder how many further races will be on it.
