Button looking precarious - has he struggled to get a full lap in before a red flag?

Emirates must be annoyed with all their advertising getting clobbered.

Ffs as soon as someone taps the wall they've got to red flag. When did it become such a nanny sport?
Car off track + recovery truck + cars still going flat out = Suzuka 2014...
In fairness that was a freak accident. This sort of thing is getting ridiculous, let them out in the wet conditions. Lets be honest they get to drive around a safe track not a stage in the back arse of nowhere with trees and stone walls lining the road.

Gets them on telly. Bernie will be charging them extra for that. He's not a man who would miss a trick like that.

As long as they don't hurt a driver. There are limits to the "no such thing as bad publicity" mantra - ask Gerald Ratner.

That was quite exciting in the end.

Nice to see both McLarens in the top ten for a change.

So why can't they just leave the cars there like they always used to?
I'm not going to call you an idiot...

Cars aren't very soft compared to armco/tyre walls etc.
Well thanks for reminding me that this isn't a name calling forum...

Has anyone ever seriously crashed into a parked car? I'm not being awkward - I genuinely don't know.

Anyway, another red flag so I'm giving up and going out...
I was at Foulston's at the oulton round of the Brit GT the other year.
Porchse went into the tyres backwards after losing ghe back end on entry, yellows out for 2 or 3 laps or so. Had just pulled them in to put hazard board out when the BMW put a wheel on the grass on entry and slid off to collect the porsche, side on.

And yes it's happened in F1. (Some also crashed into the medical car too once.

Well that was an entertaining quali, not that you'd know from all the whining on here !
It's not JUST a wet track, it's a wet track with NEW tarmac, that meens there's lots of oils in it that are bleeding out and mixing with the water, new tarmac is allways like this, it allways has been way trickyer than just wet tarmac, TBH anyone who knows racing (or even just drives a road car) should know this but most on here seem to just want to piss and moan to the point they forget the basics.

I think they are all forgetting about how to drive in wet conditions. By being not allowed too, the skill set starts fading.
Of all the ridiculous stuff you post in this forum, this is up there with the worst of it.
