So you can fly through double waved yellows and set a purple sector and it's all good. Hmmm
He clearly lifted more than normal, given the precedent the FIA set with Hulkenberg in Austria (tiniest lift was considered acceptable) I don't foresee a penalty here. I know some were doing a rain dance before hand but IMO this just proves the session would have been better without the rain as the only real change to the grid is Raikkonen being out of position.... Q1 was tedious and then the damp track ultimately denied us the final shoot out.

It's so cringeworthy listening to that little c*nt Rosberg whooping into the radio like he earned that.
Hes just got no humility has he, when most drivers might give you a slightly embarrased little smile at being gifted something.Leroy902 said:

its not either/or, though, is it? LH slowed a lot. That was his judgement. Maybe it cost him pole. NR lifted. That was his judgement. This gave him pole.
You only need to lift so far as I am aware.
Two waved yellow flags at the same post means that drivers must slow down and be prepared to stop if necessary. You only need to lift so far as I am aware.
Is a slight lift considered slowing car, is that even possible setting a purple sector?

So ?
So I understand Lewis lifting more than Nico didNot arguing the Nico lifts acceptability, just that a double yellow, is a double yellow regardless of if the hazard has actually gone.
Think cars need a speed limiter operable by race control, such that under doubles or vsc, they can slow the cars to a "safe" speed without drivers interpreting and therefore pushing the boundary.

Emirates must be annoyed with all their advertising getting clobbered.
Quite the opposite, they must be delighted with all of the coverage!Jez
I don't think this is quite Ratners! And I don't see much chance of those boardings doing any real damage to a driver.
