Hard to think that this was the BMW factory team not so long ago.

Ericsson should be fine then. His teammate less so.

The interesting thing is how long the company in question has existed for.
It looks like the guy involved (Pascal Picci) was brought in as company secretary in 2013. Ericsson would have been in GP2 and arranging a deal to get into F1 that year for 2014.

I wonder if the previously-a-director-but-not-any-more Per Cenny Brack is related to (or perhaps just /is/ Kenny Bräck). They have suspiciously close birthdays and stuff like that. In any case, on the same day Picci was appointed, he left the board.

Expect Joe Saward to be all over this stuff like a rash.

Kenny himself is a McLaren development driver these days.

The rumour is that the big yellow logo on the side of the Sauber is worth $24m a year, which is there because of Nasr.
That's a large part of Sauber's €100m or so operating budget, and by far their largest sponsor.
(The rumour is that their sponsorship is €44m, of which about half is Banco do Brasil) - the rest is from partners and from FOM.

I'm going to take a wild stab in the dark and assume you didn't actually click on the link I posted, which shows that the company involved has one of the Rausings on it (who own Tetra Laval).

  • looks up about 10 posts where I wrote that*

Does that stop Ericsson being connected to the money?
