Great vid - thanks for the link

Would love a TDF - but I don't believe I'm not even half man enough to be able to drive it biggrin

I dropped my LP560 off at Paintshield for some PPF a few months ago. Some very nice cars inside but the one that everyone was talking about was a red TDF. Looked stunning, darker red than the normal, don't know the colour but aesthetically it outshone everything in there. Something that beautiful that drives that well ... for me that's an incentive to work harder!

Great video. I'm completely in love with this car. Top of my wish-list, by a significant margin. As previous poster said, it's the best possible incentive to work harder! Have you got your car yet Camlet? How do your initial thoughts compare to those of Chris Harris?

The suspense is killing me. Mine doesn't arrive until late Q4.

I can imagine. Whoever said 'time flies' definitely wasn't waiting for an F12tdf to arrive!

Great video, amazing car. Most of us won't be able to comprehend how fast that car is being driven! Well done Chris Harris for getting back in Ferraris knickers. Would have loved to have been a fly on the wall on that one!

I tell people that my current car is beyond my abilities, but if I owned that thing it would be much much worse.

But given a Euromillions win..... go on then

thought it was typically pathetic of top gear pandering to ferrari and not testing it round their track on the episode it was featured.

You could be right but a good mate who has picked up his (he also has an Enzo and a few) said it's nuts. Also would Harris risk his long term AAA rated reputation just for a short term Ferrari cuddle? I'll let you know.

Harris wouldn't be able to make the executive decision on behalf of top gear to take it round the track imo

I'm fully aware the car is absolutely nuts!

wish I could have bought one of these, I think I would prefer one of these to a 911R - manual or no manual - not that I had the chance at either car unfortunately

Car looks great, and I certainly wouldn't say no if offered one, but I'm not sure about the implications of CH review.

Let's safely assume CH is an above average driver. He's saying that you can leave the driver aids on, but they are over-intrusive, or you can switch them off, at which point the car becomes very difficult to drive, even for him. As in, not just fast, but snappy and difficulty rather than with high limits but driveable.

Seems a bit like having a lion for a pet. Might seem cool, and is definitely wild and exotic looking, but you end up having to chain it up all the time in case it kills you.

My brother moved from a 750cc to a 1 Litre Bike. He said on the test drive/ride the sales man said, "listen mate it's gong to try and kill you."

I rode on the back of it once, that's the most frightening thing I've ever done. He says he's only had the throttle completely open on two occasions. (1100bhp/ton)

Off the track, like the F12tdf, it's a weapon and you never get to fully hold down the trigger methinks....
