Hi. my radical pr6 temp climbed to 120 degrees which I have never experienced. I topped up the water but again it overheated. Ive checked the water pump and it is working. I suspect there was an air lock in the system and I need to prime the Bosch water pump before filling the system with water. What's the best way to do that please?

Also the second catchment tank has two 90 degree metal tubes that come out. Should they be joined together with a 4 inch plastic pipe to stop water loss?

Is it definitely working when the engine is up and running? The ECU powers the water pump based on the temperature it is reading. It would be very rare to have an airlock in a radical system as the swirl pot removes all of the air

The overflow tank should have a site tube connecting those two outlets together.

Great many thanks. I'll fit some tube on the swirl tank. And thanks for letting me know about the ecu. Shaun
