I wonder if Rosberg will go to clarify matters with Charlie!!

Would be hilarious if he did.

Well as it was a team f**k up by releasing him then it kind of makes sense.

It's not like a road car where the driver can turn and look over his shoulder so he's reliant on the team to release him safely.

Wow, Toto talking some sense on track limits on SKY right now...... basically thinks it should be 'balls out' and using the 'fastest line' not penalised for being 2 inches over the white line or whatever.

So Toto opinion of track limits so completely different to what the rules are..

No wonder everybody is confused.

Apparently red flags are now used if a funny looking leaf lands on the track in front of a car. That might not be 100% accurate but they are doing red flags for some stupid reason now.

Not really - so far this year we've had 3 place grid drop, 5000 euro fine and a stop go for unsafe releases. ( http://www.f1fanatic.co.uk/2016-f1-season/statisti... ) so it's not that different to a previous penalty.

I feel sorry for codemasters if they're developing the next F1 game.

How on earth are they to know what rules to program in?

It's getting silly. Brundle was right, the white lines around a football/rugby pitch or a tennis court are not moveable. And they ain't 'open to interpretation on a game by game basis.
It's out in 3 weeks(looks bloody fantastic), so I assume they'll just use last years rules

I don't care about all this white line nonsense. The drivers should be allowed to drive whatever line they want just so long as they don't shorten the track i.e. so it only matters on the inside of corners.

We've just seen from Alonso damaging his car the proper penalty for running wide.

I feel sorry for him, he has been mentally broken by what has happened. He is only a young guy and he is watching his career and dreams go down the toilet in slow motion. It would almost be kinder for him if they just fired him over the summer break and saved him the shame of having to be the dead man walking for the rest of the season.

That interview was almost hard to watch. I'd pull him from that car asap and get someone else in. No point publicly killing the lad.
