how difficult is this to do i prefer the vxr8 key and fob combo to the monaro one as frankly its horrible? has anyone done this i had a google search but couldnt find anything only how to replace the battery
Due to the immobiliser it's not easy. The immobiliser is the contact ring on the column and the metal pin on the key. It woul need some mod of the internals in to a new key housing.
