Anyone else thinking arrivabenes not aging too well?
A year ago he looked a charming carefree player, a bit george clooney. Tough gig.
My wife asked how old he was and I said, 'About my age I think.' She said, 'He looks older.'A year ago he looked a charming carefree player, a bit george clooney. Tough gig.
I looked it up and was stunned to see he's only 59, 10 years my junior, so I'm pathetically grateful you posted your comment to allow me to post mine.
Mind you, I'm not in a job where the probability is that I will lose it before next season starts. He can console himself that he was in situ considerably longer than his predecessor.
I liked Luca. He looked the part of Italian racing team leader. I've just returned from Italy and the place seemed full of Lucas, although most a little plumper.
Hoping the Red Bulls provide some excitement at the front. Of the RB drivers, I'd say Max was showing comparable pace to the Mercs so if he can get ahead that would be a good race. He's had some pretty shocking starts lately... Hopefully he has sorted it out. The Merc was surely kinder to its tyres so it might be some excitement for nothing. Above all, hope both Merc drivers have crap starts and get swallowed up by the field allowing the Ferraris and 'Bulls to fight it out like Spain. A Merc 1-2 after the first corner will be a very boring affair.

Arrivabene is a pretty heavy smoker isn't he? Probably doesn't help his appearance much. If he had his teeth sorted it would take years off him. I looked it up and was stunned to see he's only 59, 10 years my junior, so I'm pathetically grateful you posted your comment to allow me to post mine.
But yeah, the stress certainly appears to be getting to him a bit lately. Even Vettel is looking a bit less chirpy.

Cement dust already gone, it wasn't there in the GP2 race.
Not referring to the loose dust that gets blown off but the residual cement and oil that remains impregnated to the tarmac and grooves.DC commented on this after quali.

GP2 race live right now, multiple overtakes on every single lap
If only F1 was one tenth as exciting as this........
Well maybe if Mercedes get a bad start it could be interesting. All the build up talk is about tyre deg, engine temps and the 'dirty air effect' which is a bit irritating. If only F1 was one tenth as exciting as this........
