Every damn time this season. I've said on another forum that it's feeling like a "classic season" on paper (Hamilton fighting back after issues and a dominant Rosberg at the start, then the championship toing and froing for the rest of the season, potentially for a big finale) but not a classic on track! We've been denied a fight at almost every race.

Not sure what Vettel was thinking but would like to see it again really. He's had his fair share of first lap incidents this season.

Vettel doing Lewis a huge favour in the championship there. What is up with Vettel this year? He is driving like an idiot at the starts - China, Spa, Malaysia, Russia, etc. He is forever getting himself involved in incidents in the first lap. He really should know better.

Or maybe it wasn't too optimistic, looking at the replay.

On second viewing I think that was more Max's fault than Vettel's

Not sure if I've ever seen a driver do a full 360 on the first corner laugh

That will be investigated I think. Verstappen might not get away with that.

Actually seeing the replays, don't think Seb did much wrong there. In fact you could say Rosberg turning in on Max caused Max to lose it... scratchchin

Seb bumped into Max at the back which pushed his front wheels into Nico. Unfortunate but avoidable.

Only briefly caught the replays, looked that Ves turned into Seb but would definitely need to look at it again.

Wonder if the FIA will be lenient as it is Ves & if they would see it the same if it was the other way round?

Late coming on here this morning - was Verstappen trying to deflect blame for his own poor start on to Vettel? Looked to me like Vettel had a clear chance to get past a yet again slow starting Verstappen.

Rosbergs got no racecraft or spacial awareness, ditto vettel, some of the criticism aimed at him re not being so good in close proximity to other cars maybe true. You rarely see Hamilton or ricciardo have so many first lap issues.

I think rosberg has overtaken more cars on the track in the first couple of this race than he has in the past three seasons.

Will be good to see Rosberg work his way through the grid like hamilton

Could be a penalty for VES passing before end of VSC then?

Think that's harsh to be honest, Vettel is a 4 time WC after all...

Racing incidents - st happens at first corners every now and again.
