He'll be there next year, but he'll have plenty of options for 2018 and a year to see how the new regs shake things up.

Whilst he's had 3 compromised qualy sessions, he's only had one DNF from a reliability issue this year. This is the same as 2015 (though Rosberg has thus far had 0, against 2 last year), and a massive improvement from 2014. I doubt he's got anything in his head, simply emotions running high after losing out on a win that would have put him back in the championship lead.

I thought the Red Bull drivers showed how its meant to be done when they went wheel to wheel. Very firm but very fair, with the proper amount of respect shown to their teammate and their team.
More easily done when there isn't a WDC up for grabs. It'll be interesting to see how things change should RB be in contention for the title in the coming years.
That was good clean racing. I expect DR will continue to do that, but Max may go a bit 'Rosberg' wink

I dunno, some of the moves he has pulled on Kimi have been of the Rosberg variety.

However, when he came up against Rosberg he got totally out-Rosberg'd.

OK I should have pointed out that aside from the one just selling fizzy drinks, with Mercedes they are selling an actual brand which makes cars, like Ferrari, I mean Red Bull have a Renault engine but have Infinity and Aston Martin brands on the car?! It's a Fizzy drink team which sells the dream of a drink giving you wings and crazy dare devils so their drivers are more important in that respect granted.

But i take your point and it's my fault for not saying what I've just mentioned in my prior post.
No no no, Red Bull engine is made by a watchmaker.

It says a loss of oil pressure at the previous corner, which suggests to me it was sudden (leak? hydraulic failure?). One might expect friction then caused the big end failure.

It is possible that they are using the description "big end failure" in the same way that I recall a team in the 80s referring to something like an "electrical failure" - albeit one caused because a piston had gone through the loom.

Quite possibly still roots to a butter-fingered mechanic who mucked up Rosberg's car at a few races in the last couple of seasons and is now on Hamilton's side of the garage - anyone else ever not quite put their oil filter on tight enough?
Might be a good shout, the engineer on Nico's team radio after the failure told him "possible oil on track", they seemed to think at the time it had dumped its oil.

You'd be mad not say that if you saw the amount of smoke out the back of it though, doubt it meant that he knew what had happened because they did it.

Still can't rule out God yet though. It's the God who only exists to 'bless' rappers, footballers and celebrities though...so not your average God who is dealing with unimportant stuff like famine and destruction....
If you don't mind me saying, you have a comprehension problem. At no point have I said they knew what happened "because they did it", but they might have known what happened because they knew what happened, you know from the data and stuff they have.

And to think despite all of that, they did it all on purpose to spite Lewis and make sure that a guy from Monaco wins the WDC......... amazing really, you couldn't make it up...
There is only you who seems to be making this stuff up. Just what the F1 sub-forum needed, another ridiculous troll with nothing of value to add.
