Yes, just like 4 x WDC Seb Vettel
Seb has more than once been at the mid or back of pack and fought his way to the front. I do not recall Nico doing that.I think there will be a melt down in bad PR for Mercedes on social media if Rosberg wins this WDC. Despite some good performances from him, there is an undertone that Rosberg has somehow been aided in his campaign this year and has been favoured by the team through the changes inside the garage and less assurance and reliability on Hamilton's car. If Rosberg doesn't dominate the last 6 races the stigma of him having been aided somehow will linger.

Rubbish. If he wins, it will be because he has more points.
Thats how it works. How its always worked. They both have the potential to do it.
Its up to them.
OK, I don't favour either driver really, as both have their faults on and off track.
But I had hoped Lewis would win, and I was sure he would until the last race. We will never know how good Nico really was because Lewis lost setup time. But taken as a standalone performance, Nico was at his best. Now IF he can pull that off for the rest of the year the title is his.
BUT I'm not sure Lewis has given up. His ups and downs are legendary, if he can pull his bottom lip in long enough and get back to full steam he will pull it back.
BUT (last but) he needs to win this weekend. Anything less and its sealed for Nico to win the title. I see the practise this morning has basically shown neither as more dominant.
I voted for Lewis, but that's purely on the fact I cant deal with a whole year of Nico being champ while constantly "for sure" ing every damn sentence.

Interesting article: http://www.motorsportmagazine.com/opinion/f1/putti...
I wonder if it is accurate.
TL;DR Mark Hughes believes that Mercedes have developed their car further at the end of 2015 and this year but the changes don't suit Hamilton's style but do Rosberg's. Not an intentional change, just the way it turned out..

That is a really good piece by Mark Hughes and does explain quite a lot. Hamilton was quoted at the end of last year as saying he needed to understand what has changed with the car. This, and an improved Rosberg combine to explain why Hamilton's advantage has been eroded.I wonder if it is accurate.

With respect to Mollytherocker, I still think there will be a social media melt down if Rosberg wins it, but controversy has always made F1 more watchable.
I think Nico will end up winning but neither of them deserve it.
Hamilton seems to be more interested in either being a rapper or being seen at London fashion week. His starts have also been appalling.
Rosberg is more focused and has upped his game. He unfortunately has also ran a lot of drivers off the track and who can forget that diabolical performance at Monaco...?
Ricciardo has driven consistently better than Ham or Ros this year. Unfortunately for him he is not driving a Mercedes. Really do hope that the 2017 rules mix the front of the grid up and provides real competition on the track. Getting tired of year after year of dominance, 2010 and 2012 were great!
