Hamilton seems to be more interested in either being a rapper or being seen at London fashion week. His starts have also been appalling.

Rosberg is more focused and has upped his game. He unfortunately has also ran a lot of drivers off the track and who can forget that diabolical performance at Monaco...?
Disagree - the starting issue is the car, the clutch is inconsistent and they can't sort it out.
Rosberg has always been able to drive well when unopposed and he's had lots of opportunity this year due to Hamilton's reliability issues.

Hes suggesting that he is not fully focused and is being distracted. Obvious I would have thought.

No, he appears to be belittling Hamilton for activities outside of the car (hence the 'neither deserve it')

Exactly....i'm not 'belittling' anyone.

I could not give a toss what Hamilton gets up to outside of F1 but I would prefer him to do it at the end of the season after winning the WC. Every point is crucial and he has let his focus slip recently to allow Rosberg to regain the championship lead. I can't say either of the Mercedes drivers has had a brilliant season, they are just in a car that no other team can get anywhere near.

I think there will be a melt down in bad PR for Mercedes on social media if Rosberg wins this WDC.
There would be a meltdown if Nico won because he was given the upgraded Engine and Lewis was not......

How many of the people to whom Mercedes is advertising (and thus cares about) follow the sport closely enough to have any idea about the whole tokens/upgrades thing?

So Rosberg has run a fairly good race in Malaysia, but yet again proves he can't race wheel to wheel.

He will win the WDC on reliability.

What's the issue with that? He who has most points wins - has happened and will happen. That's racing.

Keke only won one race in the season he was champion. You don't hear him being knocked for that so why knock Britney for winning it on reliability and as a result more races.

Agreed, unless Red Bull can regularly mix it up and steal some points. In a pure race with reliability for both Mercs then Hamilton is likely to finish ahead, but he needs RB to steal some points from Rosberg.

Had the Merc engine not exploded today, Rosberg would have been 4th and his poor start positioning and clumsy pass on Kimi shows he is still not good in close combat with a competitive rival. If he wins the championship it will be the least exciting run in history (perhaps second only to his Dad who was a far better racer).

The only slight encouragement is that Red Bull performed so well on a power circuit today.

I think the Honda is looking good too.

I have a feeling in 2017 we'll see RB and Mclaren up front and Mercedes lose their advantage. 3 maybe 4 teams dicing for the titles.

Not so sure Honda will be right at the sharp end, I think that is another season away yet, but even Stevie Wonder can see their trajectory is definitely up, despite what some McLaren haters on this forum think..

Marc Marques figured out being smart is more likely to win a championship vs being the fastest on track and taking risks.

....Nico is just being smart...
