are you being deliberately obtuse? or do you not understand the risk of going round the outside of a corner & inherent reasons why it's a such a 'risk'?

I want Hamilton to win, but if Rosberg does then fair play to him, a 2008 style grandstand final race finish would be good for the sport.

I'm going to make this REALLY REALLY simple for you (& some others) ...you hit the APEX, you can pretty much do what YOU LIKE on the exit.

Ill let you work out why that is (it's pretty obvious) & why literally no one will ever be penalised for it, let alone at the start of a Grand Prix.

Now, if you want a proper conversation about track limits, barging & leaving a car width, lets talk about doing that along straight bits of tarmac

I would like Rosberg to get it, only fair and square though racing it out on the track.
I voted Lewis though as I think his xp will win over the sheer determination of Nico.

I also think Lewis has had a fair bit of bad luck and Nico must be due some.

Understeer? That's Rosbergs normal racing line.

Oh please, spare us the patronising lecture.

Look, we know these manoeuvres by Hamilton are operating in a grey area that allows him to get away with it but doesn't make it any less st. It's too bad for us fans that Rosberg is not as clever as Hamilton in these situations, in light of the Merc dominance over the last few years.

Going slightly off topic - more than anything I would like to see consistency in the rules and penalties. I mean it seems to me that Verstappen was not penalised for relatively dangerous driving at Spain and Belgium but Rosberg was penalised for a cack-handed but not really dangerous move in Germany.

I guess when it comes to this argy-bargy driving I would prefer to see clean racing, but it seems to me that the aggressive style is becoming more widely accepted. At Singapore Kvyat really had his elbows out with Max and nobody batted an eyelid... even Raikkonen was unusually forceful in the way he barged pass Hamilton.

Perhaps the drivers are as frustrated as everyone else with having to drive at 8/10ths managing tyres, brakes, fuel etc. and the downforce issues making it hard to overtake, thus when an opportunity presents itself they get aggresive.

In both cases above it was clean but hard racing though, same in most of the Hamilton vs X scenario's. They know when and how to defend aggressively, but cleanly. It's been said 400x before, but Rosberg lacks this finesse.

An aside, but I really enjoyed the Kvyat vs Max for a few laps, was good clean driving from both of them, and the first decent showing from Kvyat since he got demoted.

Not sure I agree... like I said before all drivers get it wrong sometimes and it is easy to selectively remember the incidents a driver has had an disregard the clean racing he has done. Over the years there are plenty of examples of Rosberg racing and passing people skillfully.

I've seen you state that many times, but I'm still yet to see an example.

Indeed, I think with some people it's their dislike of hamilton that rather drives their admiration of Rosberg. Over the years he's been with Mercedes with Schumacher & Hamilton as team mates I fail to remember any impressive moves by him.
