Not sure why you added the rolling eyes emoticon to this. Are you saying you don't agree with the statement?

It seems fair to me; the FIA acknowledge that it is out of order but no further action will be taken due to his prompt apology.
Didn't know that you could even do a roll eyes thing. Must have done it by accident somehow?!

Maybe due a roll eyes for Seb appologising. Would be a much better story if he sent letters clarifying exactly how they should all f*** off.

+1 great plan sadly will never happen, all too scared or making too much funny money to dare think about it!

i think the pressure of ferrari is getting to vettel and the fact that kimi is actually doing a better job,

he should have stayed at red bull where it was "his" team
Well, it was until Ricciardo joined and started to hand his ass to him....

That statement deserves rolleyes for being a stty insincere puff-piece load of crap. He stated at the time that he didn't think he said anything wrong, it was high emotions. Now Ferrari have been forced to write this bullst to prevent a grid place penalty or worse.

Love it. Vettel won't be punished for having a personality. But if he or anyone else does so in future there will be consequences.

IMO he can say what he wants over radio to his team, if the FIA or FQ don't want to broadcast drivers expressing what a clusterfk their organisation is, they already have that power.

How about, rather than bleeping out (when did this begin in F1?) driver comments, they just didn't broadcast swearing to the world at all and then there'd be no "disrepute" being brought on the sport of sharks, shysters and general liars that is F1.

Vettel should change his helmet to a giant middle finger.

Not getting all this Vettel abuse - I thought we didn't want corporate PR drones like Rosberg?

I wonder if the TV crew have Sebs channel on all the time, i know he is turning into a gobste/moaning mini but he does seem to be overbroadcasted, or is it he's just the most entertaining ?
is overbroadcasted even a word ?
I meen for all we know lewis could have been discussing his latest shag with his engineer and we wouldn't know about it?
Massa could have complaining about his last prostate examaners lack of lube and how he wished the track was less bumpy?
Obv the end of race rant was broadcast pre Ffffffff/charley/Fffffff but i recon they (and most of us) knew something was coming.
What i meen is Seb a victim of his own gob or just hounded by the beep machine operator? or who ever chooses what driver to broadcast, do they have them all or one at a time ?

No overtaking for fear of punishment. No defending for fear of punishment. And no swearing at those who made those stupid rules for fear of punishment.
Seems legit. thumbup

Vettel should be able to rant all he wants inside his helmet to his team... as should any other driver. I think it's all a bit OTT, and a shame. If I were Vettel, I'd want to vent to; the frustration and pressure is getting to him.

Also good joke.
Made me listen to their stuff again and Wikipedia provided this interesting piece of info:

Keith Charles Flint (born 17 September 1969) is an English singer and dancer, best known as the vocalist for the band The Prodigy. Flint performed the lead vocals on both of The Prodigy's number one singles - "Firestarter" and "Breathe" - which were released in 1996. More recently he has had success as a motorcycle racing team owner and manager - with his Team Traction Control winning three Isle of Man TT races in 2015 and competing in the British Supersport Championship running Yamaha YZF-R6 motorcycles.

I'm a bit torn on this.

I think the FIA need to loosen up in investigating 'racing incidents', but I feel that they should've sanctioned Vettel.

If in, say, a junior Formula 4 race, a competitor told the Clerk of the Course to f* off and told the spectators that another driver was a c* , then I would expect him or her to be in an MSA Tribunal pretty quickly. But if a 4 time WDC writes a few letters, it is OK....

I think if we heard this in the Football World Cup or at Wimbledon, he might not be playing in the next round.

Seriously? Footballers tell the ref to fk off on live TV all the time and noone seems to care. It's not even bleeped as it's live.

Sure, but he didn't tell the spectators anything or CW anything. The TV director with access to all of the radio feeds broadcast Sebs radio comms to his race engineer.

If FOM are so upset about bad language, they could simply not broadcast anything with swearing in it instead of pushing it out with tabloid glee.

This.

Plus, FOM needs them transmitted as it adds to the 'package' & Charlie needs it, for track info/ conditions (unlike a football referee, where the communication SHOULD be one way)

& i'd imagine Ferrari could quite easily block transmissions if they choose ...indeed i wouldn't be surprised if they hadn't threatened to, if Seb had been punished
