Can you even read? You may not agree but to answer "eh?" just makes you sound like an utter ignoramus.
As a German living in the UK i can understand why English drivers will be heaped on with praise as others get none as this is England. But it doesn't mean i have to agree with it.
I had a suspicion your first language wasn't English. And now I know your nationality, I understand why you are biased against Hamilton.

Finally, your rudeness suggests to me you hail from Bavaria. Am I correct?

The use of the superlative 'eh' was simply because I couldn't understand your post; the sentence construction was so poor. But you're now forgiven, based on the fact you're German. But your constant anti-Hamilton posting/baiting adds nothing to these threads and Pistonheads F1 forum would be a far better place without you.
It was perfectly fine sentence for what is simply a car forum, no need for heavy prose or anything just quick typing as i'm wasting time till work ends, didn't realise people like you were here to mark us and give feedback.
Also this place would be better if a few more people were a bit more balanced rather than be utter Lewis fanboys, works both ways, i don't even rate Nico that much top 5 at a push but merely a top ten driver, but he does seem to have the beating of Lewis at times and is almost as fast most of the time... whats that say?

Mods, can we not have an 'ignore' button, so we can just select to ignore those posters who are bloody boring and who can't be civil?

Completely agree, and as there is no Nico fanboys on any forum I've ever been on (even German ones) we know which side it comes from.. one of the least liked F1 drivers in many a year is Nico.

Agreed. We can end the thread on that.

Just natural intuition I guess hehe

Not sure what rubystone has against Bavarians though. My wife is Bavarian and she and her family/friends are very nice indeed. I always enjoy our trips over to visit.

Nothing against them. They're direct and without guile. But they're also extremely stubborn and do not conform to the German 'norm'. So you can see why I thought this chap was from there. He's certainly stubborn and certainly illlgical...and direct...

Mmm hmm...? hehe

Joking aside, I know what you mean. The Frankonian farmers especially can be somewhat challenging until you get to know them.

My brother's wife is from Munster and she's not rude at all. Weird, but not rude. Maybe she's the exception that proves the rule.

Are you sure about this? Senna died in 1994, Hill lost the championship that year and 1995.

He won in 1996 on merit after a hard fought and quite close battle with Villeneuve that went to the last race. We have no idea if Senna would have still been in a Williams in 1996 had he lived.

He was destined for Ferrari after Williams according to some credible sources. Shame we didn't get to find out.

I see a lot of double standards on here where statistics are flexed to suit arguments and there is a lot of talk of rosberg not deserving the championship. E.g. Some posters yesterday stating that records will be broken with regards to the driver with most wins in a season without winning the championship, to me that's a bit of an irrelevant stat and definitely not a reflection on Hamilton/rosberg due to the sheer number of races in the modern calendar and the fact that Mercedes have won pretty much all of them.

So a question for those of you who feel rosberg does not deserve to be champion, would you agree that hunt is not a worthy world champion seeing as how he won his championship with his main competitor missing some races?

Or is it purely a British bias driver thing?
The question is not aimed at me, but if I may be permitted to tell you my thoughts.

The WDC is poorly named as it is a team event. If any driver deserves it then I suggest it should be the one who got most points during the season. I believe this isn't so as in some season drivers had to drop points, but then no one in charge of F1 ever bothered what I thought.

Hunt's championship year was one filled with all sorts of weird and wonderful races. It was, to put it mildly, eventful. A great season and one to cherish. There were many, including some motor sports magazine editors and contributors, who seemed to resent Hunt winning, but for the fans I sat with, and in those days there was a great deal of mixing, it was a popular win. But few, including me, thought he was the best driver on the grid.

To be harsh, the reason Lauda didn't win was because he crashed. He was master of his own downfall, unlike Hamilton.

I liked Lauda as a driver and looked forward to him driving, but he could be a bit, let's say a bit loose with his mouth, once he'd put the handbrake on. This caused a fair bit of resentment with many. His recovery was inspirational. All F1 fans I knew were cheering him on and were passing on updates from hospital in those pre-internet days.

Non of us thought the worse for him pulling out of the final race. One editor of a motor sport magazine chastised Lauda in the mag and I know a couple of fans who did not renew their subscription. However, we were impressed with Hunt's bravery. No double standard I think.

Out of the pair, Hunt and Lauda, there was a clear winner as to whom was the better driver. But that did not stop Hunt from being a worthy winner. It was an exceptional performance from him. Whether Rosberg's performance this season is exceptional is a matter of personal opinion but, if he wins, he ran his luck and got more points. I don't think there's a lot more to say.

Apart from Hamilton being the better driver of course.

Which was never true - I asked Sid Watkins himself directly about this. He said Ayrton wanted to win, that was all, the team was irrelevant.

Yep, twas a small Senna piece over the weekend, i saw it on a Sky F1 catch up ap on my android box, was only about 5 mins long and although Senna did indeed die in 94 if he'd been about in the following years i guess Hill wouldn't have been the one battling with MS or JV ? that part is my guess but the first was from Hill on camera smile
