This year, Rosberg was the better driver, as evidenced by him winning the WDC.

Hamilton was the better driver the two previous years.

Who knows who the best driver will be next year?

Shame the crybabies can't accept the WDC results.

shame you cant read.....I have accepted the WDC result.....many times over my last posts, stating that ROSBERG DESERVED the CHAMPIONSHIP!!!!!

...but that doesn't make him the best driver.....

...not just my opinion, that of team bosses, the media, other drivers blah blah blah

put it another way...IF hamiltons engine didn't explode In Malaysia, that would have made Hamilton the best driver no?....so really the reason that rosberg is the best driver in your eyes, isn't because he drove best...its because lewiss engine blew up (and that's not sour grapes...just stating that you are basing your opinion on rosbergs driving on anothers misfortune, not rosbergs own talent)

.... rolleyes .... why do they ask the paddock AFTER the season; who their best driver is? Why do they even ask the question? Jeeeeez. There's a special kind of stupid on show here.

Again, in case you missed it:

2014, 2015 and 2016. Best driver, as voted by team principals? Hamilton. Note that Hamilton didn't win the WDC in 2016. Do people really not get this? Whether people here agree or not... try and see what's being said here. Would people here go to all of the team principals and say 'get over it! Rosberg won!' - I doubt they would... despite them saying Hamilton was the better driver this season. I can't see how it's hard to comprehend. Nobody is saying Rosberg shouldn't be WDC... we'll keep going back and forth and maybe the light bulb will spring on!

Ok then answer me a question. Which is the better driver?

Driver A, who is miles in front, is faster in every way but his engine blows up on the last lap, through no fault of his own or
Driver B, who trundles around in second, is beaten in every possible way on talent but profits from that retirement

I wouldn't even bother.

Fact is, team bosses voted Hamilton best driver, despite not being WDC. Those, a little, hard of understanding; would like to gloss over that fact. Let them!

Who won the WDC this year?
Rosberg. Voted third 'BEST' driver by the team principals / paddock. Keep going... we'll get there in the end wink

The one that wins the championship.

Rosberg, for the avoidance of doubt.

Agreed. Quite pathetic. The championship is over and that's that.
