Calling an F1 champion a loser is an interesting definition of the word
I'm not sure about calling him a loser either - but Rosberg himself has said that if he hadn't won this year he would have carried on. So, I think you're wrong on that count.

In amongst all the tribalism on here, people seem generally to have overlooked the fact (as Niki has said) that it was a complete suprise and has upset all the people who work at Mercedes and have helped him achieve his WDC this year. He really has dropped the team in it.
That was exactly my point - he won, so nothing (certainly a lot less) left to achieve / proof - therefore better quit than continue risking your life (racing is safer than in the past, but still a risk) and use the time to focus on your family.

if he lost this year i think he would have quit anyway

im not a fan of him

but the poor fcker was under a lot of pressure had a chip on his shoulder with lewis constantly doing everything better than him

to take the wdc and leave with some pride must have been such a relief

Yes, in his announcement, I can't remember if he said it explicitly, but there was definitely a strong suggestion.

I'm sure I read that he said he wouldn't have quit if he hadn't won the Championship.

His retiring was all Ham's fault...apparently.

I am a big Hamilton fan. I would like to wish Nico well and congratulate him on a clever and no doubt rewarding decision. The negative bhing on this thread is pathetic.

Yes, welcome to the reality of professional sport at the very highest level.
There really are some very, very, naive people on this forum

Hmmmm, interesting article. One way of looking at it all, certainly. Rosberg openly said that it had all been a bit too much, this season.

Some F1 sheep workers need to get a life. People leave jobs. It happens. It's called life.

What a fking crock of st.

By definition, you're demeaning anyone who doesn't have a family; either by choice or because they can't.

People like you really fk me off. You're like the politicians bking on about 'hard working families'.
What he said, actually, is very firmly on the nail. Your hatefull, bitter , twisted spouting tends to show that . You are plainly a sad individual.

Yet Nico admitted if he hadn't won he'd have carried on so not that much pressure.

Gotta feel for Nico, even after beating his life time nemasis all the papers and even MB said Lewis won the battle but lost the war (in so many words) that dam Lewis sharing his headlines, even when he doesn't steal them he shares them, well Nico figured a way to trump Lewis once and for all and it worked ! as this thread shows biggrin
As i said in the post race thread Nico was possably burnt out so why not just walk away and make that one HUGE headline that Lewis can only sqeek at, NICE ONE SON clap you've shown bigger balls since winning the championship than Lewis could ever show on the track (and i think he knows it) and that's comming from a Lewis follower (as i allways say i follow drivers only i'm a "fan" of the sport).

Other than that my god there are some compleat tossers on here, anyone with a family and half a heart knows family trumps work, it's not a dig at anyone without a family it's just how it is, holding a trophy is NOTHING compaired to holding your new born in your arms, the ONLY similarity is the tears but then people need to show thier idiocy somewhere, why not behind the mask of an internet forum, " i dont understand therefor i get angry" grow the fk up you censored.
lol, mongs, not used that word since i was in school laugh maybe window licker is more appropriate? though very VERY un-PC, who cares use childish rants against childish minds, bring myself down to thier level (or they will never understand without the big picture version and the arrow pointing at waldo).

I've said it before and i'll say it again, opinions are like assholes, everyone has them it's just most smell of st, now i have farted in your general direction i'm off.

edited for a special shout out to DRZ, fine post my good sir beer
and mentions to all the others who "get it" you know who you are, it's the censored who are wondering who's who.

lol , mongs laugh how childish can i get laugh

Also, from the perspective of being a family man, I can see why he did this. He seems very close to his family and I think that is very nice. I, personally, would love to give up work to be with my daughter and fiancée all of the time. So I can see why he has done it from that perspective.
+1
Absolutely understand where you're coming from.
Especially if you have millions of pounds and live on the Riviera hehe
Wish I had the millions, just have to keep buying lottery tickets... smile
