I'm of the opinion that luck and reliability come and go, Rosberg's had his fair share of blow ups and faults in the past.

But for those that maintain that he ONLY won because Hamilton blew up with 4 races to go.
1- if he had not blown up, would rosberg have driven exactly the same in the last 4 races?
2- is is conceivable that the reason Hamilton had some reliability issues is due to his driving. Maybe his driving style contributed to the failures in some way?

It is all part of the "game" nowadays, and it is a game.. people made the big thing that the last lap in Abu Dhabi was 9 s slower than pole. But in a normal race EVERY lap is about 4 seconds off pole time. That's bonkers, there is no other race formula wiht such a discrepancy and it shows just how much of a farce it all is!
Nico won the award for most fastest laps this year, the last 3 races last year, the first 4 this year! He can clearly pedal a car. Lay off the guy.

Gotta feel for Nico, even after beating his life time nemasis all the papers and even MB said Lewis won the battle but lost the war (in so many words) that dam Lewis sharing his headlines, even when he doesn't steal them he shares them, well Nico figured a way to trump Lewis once and for all and it worked ! as this thread shows biggrin
As i said in the post race thread Nico was possably burnt out so why not just walk away and make that one HUGE headline that Lewis can only sqeek at, NICE ONE SON clap you've shown bigger balls since winning the championship than Lewis could ever show on the track (and i think he knows it) and that's comming from a Lewis follower (as i allways say i follow drivers only i'm a "fan" of the sport).

Other than that my god there are some compleat tossers on here, anyone with a family and half a heart knows family trumps work, it's not a dig at anyone without a family it's just how it is, holding a trophy is NOTHING compaired to holding your new born in your arms, the ONLY similarity is the tears but then people need to show thier idiocy somewhere, why not behind the mask of an internet forum, " i dont understand therefor i get angry" grow the fk up you censored.
lol, mongs, not used that word since i was in school laugh maybe window licker is more appropriate? though very VERY un-PC, who cares use childish rants against childish minds, bring myself down to thier level (or they will never understand without the big picture version and the arrow pointing at waldo).

I've said it before and i'll say it again, opinions are like assholes, everyone has them it's just most smell of st, now i have farted in your general direction i'm off.

edited for a special shout out to DRZ, fine post my good sir beer
and mentions to all the others who "get it" you know who you are, it's the censored who are wondering who's who.

lol , mongs laugh how childish can i get laugh

Have to agree Nico looked broken at the end of the final race, it really hit me how much it had drained him when I watched the Baku race & looked at him in the post race interview & then looked at him in Abu Dhabi the difference was there for all to see.

I tell you what, you lot know how to generate Internet traffic.

What with the trolls spouting nonsense and everyone else taking the bait creating 00s of posts.

What a yawn.

Hamilton and Nico Care not a jot who's arguing for and against them.

PH must be rubbing their hands with glee in revenue.

(Btw M3 MT gearbox so much better now oil has been changed. Still would rather DCT though (another argument for another time smile ))

E9X ///M 'box has always been a bit notchy. Must be a better linkage or something out there on the aftermarket. DCT is vast improvement over SMG but I'd always vote for the three pedal versions.

A friend of mine seems to think that Mercedes made a deal with Rosberg. The deal goes that Rosberg gets the world title this year and helps Hamilton get it next year. Hence the mechanics being changed and Lewis' car constantly breaking down. One of the mechanics on Hamiltons' side is a saboteur. Being the typical German Rosberg got his win and quit, deciding not to honour his side of the deal.
