F duct was a massive success
I seem to remember that the 2nd brake pedal was successful too, until it was banned?
Unless I am mistaken, neither of them won a world championship.
The second brake pedal was 1998.

And the f duct was successful because everyone copied it. No bigger compliment.

Unfortunately - it was one of the easier copies.
I didn't realised the second brake pedal was that long ago. Both of those both demonstrate the flaw of keep trying to find a magic bullet to hang your whole season on, the first got banned, fortunately the underlying car was good enough to cope withoutout it. The second was so easily copied they may as well just sold the technology to other teams, at least they would have made some money out of it.

I've gone for fourth.

I'm expecting Red Bull to challenge Mercedes for the title, with Ferrari third and McLaren as best of the rest

Force India did an outstanding job to finish fourth last season, but I can't see them matching that with a novice instead of Hulk. Williams are going backward and have a weak driver line-up and Renault are re-building.

A distant 4th IMO. They aren't going to better Mercedes or Red Bull, and Seb / Kimi will bring a decent points haul from a car which is potentially no better than the McLaren.

The Fduct was not easyly coppied in the year it came out as it was built into the structure of the car. The following year it was though.
