Fair comment, on reflection. I guess it's just that I have some emotional investment in the RD era McLaren and its sad to see that being systematically dismantled. Whatever anyone says about him, RD was deeply sensitive to the heritage of McLaren and those connected with the team from Jan McLaren to Tyler Alexander have (had) very good reasons to be thankful to him.
