Exactly...
The white on the car in the picture is to represent Honda's corporate colour...
What that thin stripe? really? and the black represents what?

Orange - We are "mclaren" whatever that means. The future! - hence at the front
Black - Ron is at the back end of his career with us. In fact he's history but he still owns a hefty chunk of the buisness
White - Honda's contribution to current success thus far

Classic FIA, they wrote the new rear wing regs but forgot to remove the old rear wing regs...So we now have these extra wings.Quickmoose said:
none, some or all of that detail could be duff though right?
complexity where it's not needed, holes where they're not needed, wings where you won't have them....just to put the others off the scent...
It will be interesting to see how close to final these release shots are...
out of interest, how did all of last years launch cars look compared to the ones that raced at austraila?complexity where it's not needed, holes where they're not needed, wings where you won't have them....just to put the others off the scent...

If the sport wasn't just in its own bubble and could attract large sponsors again we'd bet some nice liveried cars once more. As that's not the case let's at least hope the racing is close. I've still got high hopes of the Red Bull being a good looking car though, so far my 2 favourites are Sauber and Renault.

I was lucky enough as a normal fan to win a golden ticket and be part of the audience. From Andrew Benson's (BBC writer) tweet pic below, I'd say 1/3 company (left), 1/3 press and media (centre), 1/3 fans and winners (who were the lot on the right taking photos). With the launch itself, followed by a great tour of the Technology Centre and then lunch with a brief driver visit, was a fab day out. Spoke to James Allen in the queue who I have been listening to for years, and even excited to spot the various team members I've seen on TV over the years. Great fan outreach, and we'll see if the "no promises" expectations can be beaten.
My photos all seem to add upside down - so will try add a couple more later...
