Most of those companies are "partners", which means major sponsors.
Size of logo has little correlation to the level of sponsorship, if it did these guys would be paying billions, right ?
And these were only paying 20p not 10's of millions in high profile team naming levels of sponsorship....Size of logo has little correlation to the level of sponsorship, if it did these guys would be paying billions, right ?
You know very well in F1 space on the car equals more cost... Mclaren run the partner system with most logos in their car but even Ron had stated numerous times they needed a title sponsor aswell, a sponsor that would decide/influence a livery.... Partner doesn't always mean major sponsor, the company that supplied the lighting at Woking are a partner and get all the VIP treatment at races in return for doing the job for free. That hardly constitutes a major sponsor investing into the team to help it run from race to race....
I'm making a fairly obvious and easy to understand point, are you just bored or something?

Classic FIA, they wrote the new rear wing regs but forgot to remove the old rear wing regs...So we now have these extra wings.
Yep - here's a visualisation of the dimensions regs at the rear. They accidentally left the front of the old wing box in the regs. Morons.I'm not sure what I was expecting, but I really am struggling to like the look of any of the new 2017 cars. Maybe I was after something more simple and retro?
Hopefully things can be saved if the cars are more racy - but I'm not holding my breath. I cancelled Sky last week, and unless they come back with a super deal, I'll be making a half arsed effort to watch it on Channel4 - a lifetime dedicated F1 fan and I'm struggling to get excited about the new season for the first time in 30 years.

Question - why are the shark fins back ?
I was wondering that too - what does the shark fin bring to the aerodynamic party?DanielSan said:

You implied that F1 doesn't have any major sponsors, which quite clearly it does, unless those companies I listed are all paying £3.50 each.So whats your point ?
If you love talking F1 down so much, why even bother posting in this section ?

I am afraid I think this post is a bit of a summary of PH and F1 fans as a whole.Edited by Emeye on Saturday 25th February 18:35
'I was hoping for a history that I am pining for'.
But that probably didn't exist.
I agree - I personally believe f1 designe peaked in the early-mid nineties. But to be honest, really, its all no better or worse.
