In Roman times they would send the lions in to end the boredom.

Masius would have been thrown to the lions... resulting in the birth of the sprint race.

im curious why someone in the lower ranks who are not going to score points like Riccardo or Gasly , dont pit in in the last couple of laps for softs then set fastest lap and gain the extra point ?

You can only score for fastest lap if you're already in the points.

Anyone likely to benefit from it (i.e. anyone in the top 10 who can pit and come out in the same position on track) generally does. No point in pitting to gain a point, if you lose more by losing places.

Someone outside of the top 10 isn't going to do it as there is nothing in it for them.

Perez did it once in 2021, pitting from 9th or 10th to go outside the top 10, to take the fastest lap from Lewis.

But that’s very much the exception.

A true master of his car.
Back when that RB was shonky Max was still superfast.

Sainz to going Mercedes would be fun.
A good read on the two team mates

Max is in another league, especially on corner exit. The other three are relatively close.

Quite Schumacher-esq from Max

Alonso is mighty on the brakes.
