I prefer Lewis's approach to racing or at least how he would like it to be... Battle with the top guys in good cars, emerging at the end of the season as WDC. He wants to race, fight for the win, not simply race off into the distance. Of course he'd take that but scrapping through the season, that's what the fans want to see. Be entertained. It must be more rewarding to win that way than outright dominance...?Except... If say Seb, Max, Alonso and Lewis happen to be in a 4 way battle, wheel to wheel between Lewis and Alonso would likely be tight but fair as seen in Mexico. Seb and Max in the mix though, with all that wheel banging and uncontrolled aggression... Lewis may wish he was dominating.

Now he thinks the penalty points system should be scrapped. Is it because he's on 8 points and likely to get a race ban if does one more stupid thing?

He seems to have issues with the rules of the sport, which are as old as the sport, and for that reason he's picking up the points intended for repeat offenders. https://www.motorsport.com/f1/news/verstappen-pena...
