Don't care.
The guy has ruined F1 for me for what... must be over a decade now?!
Sod him!
Even that dumbo "Bernie" or one of the sky kids would be better.
Niomi Schiff, Sam Collins and Brundle would be a far better team.
Crofty actually raises my blood pressure, totally ruins the experience.
Schitt is just as bad. Knows absolutely sfa. The two of them are ruining the coverage for me. The guy has ruined F1 for me for what... must be over a decade now?!

Why do so many of you say Crofty ?
It is Croft who is generally despised as a commentator , som to cal him Crofty implies a warm friendly / loveable friend which he is clearly not according to this thread.
Everyone calls him that because that's how pretty much he is addressed by almost everyone on the Sky Team.It is Croft who is generally despised as a commentator , som to cal him Crofty implies a warm friendly / loveable friend which he is clearly not according to this thread.
"Thanks Damon, and now over to Crofty for more shrieking, inane, dribbling bks"
Me too, I am human after all.
However, he really really comes over as a bullish arrogant oaf, that really thinks he is gods gift to F1.
I've seen quite (unfortunately) a few events with him doing them, F1 events in and around the race weekend, and he is even more obnoxious in "real life" than he is in the commentary box. He is really quite rude when asking drivers questions too. His sense of "humour" is not just cringe worthy, but just plain low IQ, childlike, and utterly un-funny. Brundle is a dry humour master in comparison.
He will never change, never dial it down, and I fear will continue on for many more years until his cholesterol catches up with him.
I forget at what specific point it was, but in the race he made a point of somebody catching someone before the end of the race at the pace they were going, when they were something like 45seconds behind. I think Brundle let it go, but I was thinking it was yet another piece of erroneous, made up bks which did nothing for anyone.

That's exactly why I've cancelled my Sky F1 subscription. Boring racing, predictable result and woeful commentary.
Same here. So happy not to feel compelled to watch all 6 or so hours of coverage fronted by utter morons. The ‘high’lights on ch4 were more than enough.
The 10 hours of WEC was far better motorsport viewing.

Watching practice and he still doesnt shut up.
Literally not a single millisecond without talking.
SHUT UP.
Are they actually told not to leave a single moments silence?
He can't shut up, I didn't watch it live, but couldn't believe the stupid statistics he was spewing out, stupid invented anniversary of this and thatLiterally not a single millisecond without talking.

It was quite amusing when Karun and Ant suggested a 10 minute sin bin every time Croft made a terrible dad joke. I hope Sky take their suggestion, well never hear him again
