I’ve noticed the past couple of seasons that brundle is absent a lot more than he used to be.

what is so wrong with "Switcharoo" exactly?
It's the way he triumphantly announces it, as though taking a late apex in order to get on full gas earlier than your attacker is a rare enough event to deserve its own special moniker courtesy of Crofty™

The bloke is a muff.
For me, he doesn't use the word correctly anyway:it means an unexpected surprise or trick. Selling a dummy would make sense, but he uses it for a well planned overtake, its very rarely unexpected or a trick - it isn't a "thing" in isolation, or a specific technique. The man's a moron.
Fortunately I haven't heard him lately, but you are correct - his use of switcheroo is wrong.

Swicheroo also always reminds of one of the most entertaining musicians to ever grace the stage: Slim Gaillard. He invented his own language "Vout-o-Reenee" and my email name was inspired by him. Originally it was going to be "Fillerooneywithsomehot sauceonthesideandthatshouldjustaboutfixit@hotmail.com, but I realised that might be a tad laborious.

He had a fascinating life, culminating in being able to captivate an audience better than Croft ever could..., with just his little finger:

To add some culture to this thread. In action. Sublime IMHO:

IIIRC - he had a review of the Sky contract after his health (heart?) issues a few seasons back. His original contract was for the number of races they did then...say 16 weekends and now F1 does circa 49 races across 53 weekends a year. I think that he asked to go back to a more sensible schedule for himself.

.... my memory is a bit flakey here.

Yeah I've read that he's contracted for something like 18 races a year, so he tends to pick and choose these days. With age catching up, heart attack and a gammy ankle, said he’s not so keen on all the travelling.

He still does the same number of races but there are more of them in a season so he misses more now.
