I read that article and had to laugh at the "journalist"'s take on it:

"This is especially true considering the publicity they got after the incident, making a cool profit of around $25,000 in sales and through social media."

$25 000 is a mere drop in the ocean for Bose.
LOL. Those headsets will go for $1k each, same noise-cancelling ones as they sell to pilots.

Not that Mercedes buy them of course, they’ll be free, and with extra large logos on the side.

This whole "Lewis crying" meme makes no sense to me. The guy is always 100% when losing. I doubt 99% of people could have given the interview he did after losing Abu Dhabi

Hamilton definitely took the right approach - very sporting.
I'd love to know what his Dad said to him when he got out of the car. He gets a lot of stick for whining in the car but out of it he was supernaturally composed.

Sebs tantrum aftter being denied first or Max's sulk the race before would have been entirely expected after being robbed like that.
yes, agree, his dad must have had just the right words for the situation. They came out of it really well.
Eh?

He didn't drive to 2nd place
He didn't turn up at the post race conference
He's deleted his Instagram (apparently)
He's given the world the silent treatment since

Biggest baby ever to lose a competition, he's still sulking now and talk about him not coming back. He knows he'll lose to George anyway.

I was just referring to his behaviour towards Max/Jos immediately after the race, compared with Wolff's full-on spoiled toddler routine.

Yes, mega huffy puffy since then, but his mind must be blown.

So you moan if he says something and you moan if he doesn't say anything??

To be fair I think we would all be rather upset to have a win taken away from him in the way that it was done.

Sure, and the sporting world's biggest moaner/tantrum thrower was always John McEnroe, but even he didn't threaten to pull out, and not contest the tennis championships the next year, or to take the ref. to court.

Lewis Hamilton hasn’t threatened to quit the sport or take anyone to court.

Yes, but look at the poster. Not someone to take seriously.

No one changed the rules. Have you even read the rules? Would you like a copy? And his team were threatening court on his behalf, and there are plenty of threats that he won't race next year.

Oh, and Masi will remain as Race Director for 2022 too.

I bet you can’t show me one instance where Lewis Hamilton has threatened that he won’t race next year.

Actually, that could be quite analogous - match point, Mr Opponent serves, ball is obviously going out, McEnroe doesn't even try to hit it.
Just after it's gone past him, the umpire shouts "New rule! No white lines! The whole court is "in"! Game, set and match to Mr O!"
And then all Mr O's fans will be on the forums saying McEnroe's strategy of not trying to return the ball was clearly wrong...

I see your fact checking is still at the same low standard.
10 seconds googling would have shown you his Instagram is still there - https://instagram.com/lewishamilton

Apparently, idid write it. There were some toys thrown out the pram; deleted followers or something. I don't know, I don't use Instagram or follow pictures of racing drivers. But I have read about some e-tantrums on some social media.

Here we go, the full meltdown:

Lewis Hamilton unfollows EVERYBODY on Instagram amid retirement speculation after his controversial F1 title defeat https://www.the-sun.com/sport/4333573/f1-lewis-ham...
