If you speed in pit lane in practice or qualy you get fined…

If you do it in a race for a competitive pistop you gain an advantage, so obviously time penalties get issued.

What’s the gain that you earn when going through pit lane behind safety car in a queue? Is there an advantage that people need to be dissuaded from taking by harsh penalties? Nope… so why the severe penalty? It’s toughest penalty we’ve seen for almost anything for years. Even deliberately ramming or brake tearing hasn’t attracted worse…

Crofty said the penalty equals 20 secs? so almost the same as KMag.

I know - 20 seconds!? The one driver to make an overtake and it's made irrelevant by a technical infringement after the race.

Whatever, I guess none of it matters, he's fighting for nothing this year.

Who cares, it's for the scraps. Seems fair enough to penalise speeding in the pits as per the rules, it's always a slam dunk penalty.

Could argue even less safety issue as clear all cars are chugging through.

They’ll be lucky if they get a couple of podiums between themselves this year. Car looks an absolute dog. This track is st too so that’s probably not helping either.

KMag driving with all finesse a karting cadet with red mist and screaming dad...embarrassing to watch in F1. No problem with his strategy to help Hulk or hard racing, but the late late lunge going off track after being cleanly overtaken on the straight deserved a black flag for dangerous and unsporting driving.

FairPlay to KMag for putting his hands up to his ‘Wacky Races’ driving.

You never see such accountability from Verstappen.

Merc to opt for less drag for the race? It was farcical today.

Norris' bad luck might cost him the upgrades. Did nothing wrong, other than be in the bit of road that others were pushed into.

Well done Leclerk. DR done enough to keep his job?

Having been a Cadet Kart dad for some years I can assure you the kids do not drive like that, neither would it be tolerated.
