Only just seen this :-(. Went last year and it was fantastic!

Is it possible to park up elsewhere and walk over?

Attended last year and parked in the public area - only to watch a guy reverse straight into my C63. Good day out especially with access to the cars on the track

And to add to the fun, the MX5 Owners Club are having their spring rally at Brooklands that day. There is going to be at least 750 MX5s turning up, with the test hill in action in the morning and afternoon.
Errrr, does that not mean the day is going to be Chaos??

1350 cars all turning up in a 2-3 hour window. Have Brooklands held that many cars in the latest configuration?
Us PH lot will be going in a different entrance for MBW than the MX5OC guys going to the Museum next door.
A ha! I am a PHer and an MX5OC member. Does this mean I get to strut about like I own the place?

But seriously, test hill? I need a bit of that.
laugh I'm the lord of the Manor! Have you seen the hill? I'd advise viewing from the top before committing. It's a little bit "Jumpy". hehe

Is they a minimum age for the 15min taster sessions?

Also assume they will be some form of deposit?

Thanks

It will be a bit busy. Just checked the brooklands museum website and the drive it day cars will all be going in the same entrance as the Sunday service so yes 2000 cars all turning up at the same time should be fun!

probably worth noting that if you are arriving from the A3, dont go towards Weybridge on the roundabout, go straight over and head for tesco, then straight over. The cut through on the industrial estate by Sony is always closed!

UPDATE FROM MBW Unfortunately the Fortec Motorsport SLS GT3 will not be in attendance after sustaining damage at a sprint event over the weekend which means despite best efforts, it wont be repaired in time.

The MX-5'ers should be using the Brooklands Museum main entrance which is different to the MBW entrance so there shouldn't be any issues thumbup

Most of the MX5s will be entering Brooklands via Campbell Gate off Brooklands Road, our overflow will be The Heights car park.

The normal entrance to Brooklands is via MB world along Brooklands Drive, but this map (assuming link works) shows the other entrance to Brooklands for big events (normally for deliveries- click on birds eye for better view)

Apparently as per the above post they have been told to use the Brooklands Road entrance, I wonder how many will get mixed in with PH'ers and only realise when they get to our sign in point hehe

We should have some signage.

As in:

1) We need to get some signage

2) We haven't got any signage but really should do

3) We have signage, but need to actually put it up for people to see

hehe

Still amused about the whole Urban Dictionary thing hehe
