I organised a Pi$$ up in a brewery last week, great fun! Sadly the brewery may be too small for a SS, but if you're happy to limit to 100 people!

I went to the Loose Cannon Brewery in Abingdon (I'm a "member"). I knew the "tour" was going to be good when we arrived when they asked "Are you going to do the tour or just drink?"

It certainly sounds like sunbeam alpine needs a drink... Anyway I think it's a good idea but I don't think PH will run with mixing cars and beer

I've never had any issue finding the events and never missed out. I've been to the last 3 sunday services and they've been great, I always think pistonfest was always doomed to fail though.
