Ferrari Racing Days Sunday Service 14/09

Join PH and Ferrari at Silverstone for a day of XX specials, F1 Clienti and Pirelli Ferrari Open

We know how popular Sunday Services at Ferrari Racing Days are so we've teamed up with the nice chaps from Maranello again. Once more the Racing Day takes place at Silverstone and it's on next Sunday, September 14.

What better way to spend a Sunday morning than enjoying a bacon breakfast, ogling a car park of PH metal and watching myriad very special Ferraris racing at the home of F1? It really doesn't get much better than that. Does it? Well yes, actually it does. On top of free entry to the Sunday Service (as always), every car will be issued with a pair of free entry tickets on arrival. Yep, FREE. With tickets normally £20 on the day, that sounds like a pretty good reward for setting your alarm clock early!

This year we've been moved to a dedicated parking area for 500 cars just outside the circuit. Whilst we're a bit further away from the action, the move does permit a self contained space with our own catering. Furthermore it will give the event the look and feel of a more traditional Sunday Service, and people can dip in and out of the racing as they please. Ferrari has laid on a shuttle bus too, so anyone that wants to spectate won't have far to walk!

If you don't want to watch the on-track action then you can just stay in the car park looking at the great PHer cars assembled. We've also got the Silverstone Visitor Centre to ourselves.

As normal, gates will be open from 09:00 (please try not to arrive much earlier if possible) and the on track action is due to end just before 18:00. Of course you're welcome to head off at your leisure.

Previously this event has proved extremely popular and there really will be lots of fantastic cars being put through their paces. The list includes the awesome 599XX and FXX experimental development vehicles and even some of the marque's F1 cars. We'll be treated as well to the Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli, which is is the only one-make racing series for Ferrari's mid-engined V8 cars. This is pretty much guaranteed to provide some determined wheel to wheel action and will of course be accompanied by a gorgeous flat-plane V8 soundtrack. The full race schedule can be seen here.

There will be plenty of Ferrari related activities at Silverstone such as a display of the current Ferrari range for you to look at and sit in (yes, including the LaFerrari) and the F1 simulator. Any budding Kimi replacements need to try it!

Unsurprisingly the event is filling up quickly so make sure you put your name down ASAP by clicking here.

We're really looking forward to the event and seeing plenty of PHers there. Once you've signed up further detailed instructions will be sent on Wednesday September 10.

Really good day out. Took the family last time and don't recall having to buy any more tickets.

With only two tickets included, what's the scoop on more passengers?

Is the shuttle bus just for those that don't want to walk or is it the only way to get between the SS and circuit? Are the tickets roaming for all the grandstands?

Shuttle bus will be optional. Walking will be fine but obviously take longer. Am sure there won't be any allocated seating for this sort of event.

There'll only be a couple open. There's not much of a crowd to justify opening many of them up.

With regards to grandstands, the tickets will give you access to the ones that are open and there is no allocated seating so if the grandstand is open, you can sit where you like thumbup

Any chance of attendance if you're not one of the 500? Like separate public parking or whatever?

I should think so, have a look on the Silverstone website. If you're on the reserve list, keep an eye on it as people do drop out so you could quite easily make it into the 500.

Morning Nathan,

Thinking of bringing myself and 3 others up in my car. Do we get physical tickets from PH to get in or are we "in" when in the SS area?

I dont mind paying for tickets for the other two people, but will happily save £30-40 if I can.

Thanks for arranging this one.
