Porsche Sunday Service Silverstone 19/10

We're off to Silverstone once more for another Sunday with Porsche; sign up now!

Following from the great Sunday Service at Silverstone a couple of weeks ago, we thought we'd make things easy by making a return trip. This time our hosts at the home of Formula 1 are Porsche and we'll once again enjoy a morning of fun and flat-sixes at its excellent Experience Centre.

Fingers crossed for better weather this year

As veterans of this event will know, you are in for a treat. Porsche and its crack squad of driving ninjas will be on hand to show off Stuttgart's finest on the wet handling area. Anyone with a few pennies spare for a good cause can to jump in for a passenger ride and have an experience to remember! Alongside this all of the latest Porsche models will be on display. Still not sure? Take a look at this video of our 2011 visit.

Moreover, there's even some racing at Silverstone on the Sunday. Though you can see the track from the Experience Centre, we aren't including any admission tickets as part of the Sunday Service deal. Important to stress that. But it's a cracking line up of motorsport so why not get a ticket and make a day of it? You'll even get to see our own tame racing driver on the National circuit in his Caterham...

As always, there will be refreshments available and the event will run from 0900 and finish at 1300. To be guaranteed one of the 500 places you need to sign up to the calendar sooner rather than later as this event is always very popular.

Directions can be found here or you can follow our Dream Drive route.

We'll send out joining instructions on the October 15 so make sure your email address in your profile is up to date.

We look forward to seeing you there.

Let's hope it's drier than it was last year, still a great event though.

My friend is racing in the Caterham Academy too, so was intending to be at Silverstone anyhow that weekend.

The article refers to racing on the national circuit (which, from memory, you can't see from the Porsche Centre) but Silverstone's website refers to the international circuit which you can. I'll be there either way! Will we be able to buy a race ticket if we walk over the bridge from Porsche or will have to go round to the main entrance?

Looking forward to this, as I had to pull out last year but not racing at the Silv meeting, so will give the girl a blast to her (UK) spiritual home.

For the Morgan Sunday Service, over 100 dropped out allowing me in, so there's a good chance still.

It's definitely worth keeping an eye on the list. As you say, people do drop out leading up to the event which will make room for the people on the reserve list thumbup

Yes same here - nice to be well within the 500 for a change! I have enjoyed the previous porsche silverstone SS's so I'm sure this will be a good one.
