Big thanks to PH, Ansar and the Zenos team, it was a very interesting morning. Also, sorry I was late for my test drive - I could have sworn it was half past!
Very best of luck for the future!

Great morning at Zenos, Good to catch up with a couple of ex-work colleagues there too. Some fantastic cars in the very spread out car parks too. Free coffee, Free bacon sarnies, and a very good crowd there too.
Well done

Enjoyed the morning at Zenos Cars, very well presented and a car park full of interesting motors. Bacon roll was a nice touch too.. Good to meet up with a few of the TVR Eurotour lads as well..
Many thanks for organising the day.

Was a great day - thanks to the PH dudes and Zenos crew. The orange/black E10 looked fantastic in the flesh. I don't do open-top cars + helmets! So I'll be keeping an eye open for news on the coupe, due for 2018 according to Ansar. Will be interesting to see if it's focussed enough to tempt me to replace the Stratos replica.

PH car of the day for me was the old black 911. It's just so ... right.

Was good to see some other NSXs, too. Big thanks to Chris for a ride-along in the turbo'd one. Want! smile

If you mean the one parked next to my LC then the owner will be very chuffed when I tell him as he spent a long time trying to find the best one he could - I nearly lost the will to live the search took that long!!

And dyno-rod orange (well it probably once was – very sensitive to fading I guess)

Indeed. It's long overdue some remedial action, will hopefully have a go at a DIY wrap on the orange bits next spring before the season starts. The bonnet gives an idea of how much it's faded, the "Only" part of the MR2 Only logo did have chrome vinyl over it until the start of this year when I took it off out of curiosity.

Looked more like this when it was first done:

Agreed. That 911 looked stunning. Had a really brief convo with him as he got out of it.

Anyway thanks to pistonheads and zenos for organising this. The drive to and from there was amazing. I went through some great B roads!!

Don't remember seeing that one, where was that parked? Mind you, the Ninja Green one looked good.

Many thanks to Zenos (& PH of course) - nice crew, really deserve to do well. But the nub of it is that they need orders rather than yet more smoke blowing up their rear ends (from free-loading journos) - that doesn't pay the bills. We're the guys n gals with the actual folding, so let's do our best to give them a future.

Cheers All.

PS My first SS and pleasantly surprised how grown up most of us are ........... thankfully, little sign of baseball caps worn ass about face biggrin

Thank you PH and Zenos for a great morning. It was good to see the factory after being impressed with the E10 at Silverstone. Although it was a 2 hour trek ( partly due to iffy navigation decisions - 90 minutes home) it was a great day to give the Caterham a good blast. I was lucky enough to win the draw for the limited edition print which looks great on my wall - thank you Ansar.

Ahem. Brainfart! Green/black it was. When I saw it I immediately thought it'd also look the mutt's in RAL2005 orange/black, too, and I misremembered it.

Enjoyed those photos. First pic I've seen of the engine bay. They really couldn't have squeezed anything larger in there. I guess they chose the engine and designed the body around it.

Thanks for the photos Steve Baker - the ones of that lovely Estoril Blue E46 M3 are spectacular!
Mind you, I would say that - it's my car!
I love it to bits but sadly it is now up for sale...if anyone is interested in a beautiful condition and no expense spared E46 M3, now's your chance!

If you insist

From various PH EA runs (he always seems to park near Gewy's car - yellow newer 911)

PHEA Feb run 2013

PHEA 2013 Winter run (amazingly not alongside a yellow 911)

2014 Snetterton Evening (not a yellow car in sight)

Ace Cafe (at night so excuse the poor picture)

And alongside another yellow Beetle wink

Enough? It's a really nice car and for something that was built in 1987 it hasn't got a creak or a rattle anywhere and it rides so well I frequently prefer to be a passenger and not take one of my cars....

A little late to the party, but I'd like to thank Nathan and PH for organising this wonderful Event.

After a few years organising PH Events for the local East Anglian PHers, it was a pleasant change to attend as a "punter" thumbup
It was my first Sunday Service, and it's clearly a well oiled machine. In quick with a friendly welcome, parked quick and left to wander around, snapping away.
I spoke to many new faces, caught up with some local PH chums and had the opportunity to have a close look around Zenos -Just a shame I was too busy chatting and snapping that I missed my bacon roll paperbag

Finally, here's my photo offering: CLICK HERE

I look forward to getting my arse along to another SS!

Thank you again!
