As the title says. I am really looking forward to my first SS this Sunday at Gaydon. I am signed up at No.150. I have a few queries:-
What happens on arrival? Will I need/receive a pass? If not how are numbers controlled?
Can I bring Guests (son and grandson)?

You should receive an Email which sometimes contains a printable pass.

Turn up at the venue and you may be asked your username at the gate.

Bring as many passengers as you like [no coaches allowed]

Be nice to the gate staff by bringing cake or biscuits for them [optional]

If you're just past the 300 and so haven't had an email but live locally to the service, is it worth turning up a bit later on and trying to get in? I can imagine theres a fair number of no shows?

What to expect....

  • Nice Cars
  • Exciting Cars
  • Not so exciting cars
  • Car enthusiasts
  • Gifts. If we're lucky
  • Good conversations about cars
  • People taking pictures of cars

And, depending on the venue, catering that can vary from excellent (and free) to painfully slow to over-priced rubbish smile

Rumour has it there will be one in December.

At a place that rhymes with wood good.
