I attended the Sunday service at Goodwood and it was my first (as I was visiting family in Worthing and live in deepest darkest Devon). I notice that there's an Enzo in the photo that wasn't there at 10am when I arrived neither was there any other Ferrari in sight? Why was this and is it typical? You could not move for 911s but not a prancing horse in sight??? By the way I thought it was great, loads of great cars and car mad people taking abut them cool

It started life as a 997 Carrera S and then had a Carrera Cup racing car engine, transmission, suspension, seats, harnesses and rear wing transplanted into it. So basically a road going race car. Am incredible machine. My CSR is parked alongside smile
Interesting. Quite a serious project then! It was clearly not a Cup car/shell but good to know it's more than just an enormous wing and splitter!

The CSR looks very smart; not seen it before.

- You arrived about 2 hours after everyone else.
- It was -2 and the majority of super cars are not driven when there is ice and salt on the road.

There were a few Ferraris dotted about - certainly saw that one on the main straight early doors, plus 3 or 4 others dotted about the paddock area smile

Great day. Cold but very enjoyable.

And the drive there and back was amazing. There are some great b roads around there. On the way back were stopped off at a pub called Stag Inn. Great food and really warm!

Great morning out as usual for the ss. Even had a go in the 235i on the skid pan.

It was a great great morning but im glad I got away before the rain.
The M235i's on the skid pan were great fun, I saw the Goodwood camera crew on the side as I was out in one, anyone know if they've uploaded photos/videos of that somewhere?

Was good fun, only had one twitchy moment on the way down. Seemed to be a decent turnout, but the postcode in the email took a few people up past the house (RS4 & MGTF were the two we came across!).
I was the driver of the MGTF, which makes you driver/passenger of the 200sx?

Yeah, I had a good drive past Goodwood House and Goodwood Race course before doing a U turn. By the time I got to the actual circuit most people had gone.

A valuable lesson learned for a lot of people. Get up early and get there when it starts. Your efforts will be rewarded.

Is my mate's car, but I was doing the driving. He's getting quite good at the drifting malarkey, hence some of the stickers
