That picture is one of a sequence of 22 of the entire pirouette! I'll put them up later once I've got round to doing them, the benefits of having a fast camera and clocking him coming into the corner too fast...

Great photos and a great day...wasn't black flagged (for noise) until my very last lap too which was a result!

Thanks to everyone for organising/marshalling!

Hi All - cracking day, and many thanks to all who were involved in organising and supporting it

If anyone has a pic of the blue SL in action (ideally with the Mrs driving - it was her first time ever on track) I'd be very grateful smile

Cheers

Matt

No pics but the noise is still reverberating round my head - sounded awesome and was going well! Standard exhaust, etc?

Cheers,

Dan

Haha - Glad you approved smile

Standard exhaust but DMS pulleys and remap, and I guess 70,000 miles of abuse may have loosened the baffles a smidge!

First time I've taken the old girl on track - I was blown away by how well she did

Cheers

Matt

Want to add my thanks to the organisers for the day too - was a fantastic event with a great mix of cars and people

If anyone has pics/video of the Boxster spyder I'd be grateful, got a few but always open to more

Was the girlfriend's first proper trackday, and given she'd only driven the Spyder for 30 minutes previously I think she acquited herself pretty well and has got the 'bug' - she's already badgering me for her own 'toy' - Mini GP currently her fave after seeing a couple at the Sunday Service

Rich.

Was a great day and as requested I (the Monaro) was gentle with your Mrs on track (altho' she looked like she was pretty much up to speed in no time)

Great crowd aswell...best day in a long time. The waiting in the queues became somewhat tiresome (although good for the fuel consumption)

Roll on next year!

I really enjoyed this day despite it ending early due to braking issues (I had the silver mk5 Golf GTI).
I thought the standard of driving was generally pretty good for such a mixed bag, and it didn't take too long to get back out on track.
Very much looking forward to the next one!

Also looking forward to seeing the PH staff video from the Megane :-)

I have to say having done many track day's at Goodwood that this was by far the best run one I've done (including one I organised myself!). Hardly any waiting around between sessions which was great.

And yes, I'm looking forward to seeing Dan's lawn mowing video wink

ps - pictures of the Omex MX-5 are much appreciated!

These are the best ones I have of you, If you drop me a message with an e mail address I'll send a full size copy over of each... I only had one with your other half at the wheel so quite happy it was in focus!

And here's some fun (mainly at my expense). Click the link and watch the telemetry from the RS Monitor of my somewhat abbreviated initial stint, also known as an example of why you should make sure your Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2s are up to temperature before going all out. Hot driver + cold tyres = uh oh! Click the replay link at the bottom right, speed up to 4x on the slider on the top right to skip the first minute waiting in the pit lane and then enjoy. Really neat little gadget actually - you just plug the USB into the car and let it record your heroics. Or otherwise!

Cheers,

Dan

Brilliant to see these photos, it was a great day. I learned a lot, I have driven a little on track before but it was my first track day and first time at GW. Once I realised which corners could be taken flat out I was extremely happy! If anyone has a pic of the blue WRX wagon with either me or him driving, I would love to see clap

Was absolutely gutted when my 2nd session out was red flagged, we will be back on track again very soon, thinking of taking the MR2 to Cadwell Pk after some good advice.

Thanks for some great moments and excellent chats guys! See ya soon.
