The start time does raise an interesting question. Who has to wake up the earliest to attend this event? Is anyone doing what Eybic thought about doing earlier and not actually going to sleep?

I'm leaving at 0130 to get there for 0400.

Really doesn't seem a lot of point going to bed Saturday night. Having the Monday off work to recover sleep

I am coming from the Swindon area so I have a straight shot down the motorway. Leaving at 01:30 now that is dedication.

I was thinking in bed asleep by 22:00 so I would at least get a solid 4 hours.

I'm coming down from Norfolk, at least the M25 (hopefully) will be quiet at stupid o'clock on a Sunday morning!

hehe

I'm coming from Oxford way, hopefully for once the A34 may be free of drivers intent on rolling car transporters/milk tankers...

Now the question is as the journey is a straight shot down the motorway do I wimp out and bring the daily driver, with 6 gears, heated seats, climate control - the car that is suited to motorway drive...

Or

Do I bring the weekend car that's noisy, 5 gears, tends to mist up due to ineffectual manual aircon, drinks like a fish so not suited to motorway cruising - the car that was more suited to the blast upto Gaydon a couple of weeks ago.

Choices choices perhaps it will depend if I need a more exciting drive to keep me awake. sleep

You are down on the list in the link below as attending and confirmed by Nathan.

This is from the thread running in the F1 forum.

The link should link you to page 6 of that thread the list is near the bottom, not sure if this fully up to date with all new attendees, but your user is definitely on it.

I still have 4 spaces left which will be offered out after 1200 today unless I get answer from the people I mailed.
