Yes, but they will need to wear a crash helmet too.
Cheers, forgot to reply on here earlier! I was too eager to book track time! All booked for the early morning novice session. Gonna be a very early start for me haha!

Put my name down, 575th in line!

Is it worth turning up at say 10ish just in case I can squeeze in?
I'm not on track but would love to watch and generally mooch around?

If you are booked you need to take your name off the list to make space for someone else to attend.

Anyone else thats booked and not taken their name off should also get taking your name off quick.

Its a bit selfish otherwise.
Well said! We need the community to start policing this as it is starting to become an issue - At Brands Hatch over 50 people didn't turn up, luckily it wasn't a problem as we had spare capacity but as you say, it is selfish when there is a waiting list (like we have for Silverstone)

Guys can the track time be booked online? Also the weather currently is forecasting rain all day, so will there be a refund in that case?

So, this has gone a bit tits up for us. mrs TS has to go for an endoscopy on the Saturday which is going to rule her out and means I can't leave her for 24 hours also.

I've booked two novice sessions. I'm screwed. I suspect there are no refunds, but I haven't had a chance to call them yet.

Start charging a fiver (redeemable against a hot drink on arrival)

Never dropped out of a SS, but it is piss boiling when you see people haven't turned up.

Interesting idea, although it may be tricky as we almost always use the host's catering facility and equally sometimes don't charge for tea / coffee.

We're thinking along the same lines though - we're not looking to charge for Sunday Sevices but equally when it is a free event there is no penalty for not arriving. Our other idea was either a very small booking fee (couple of quid) which all gets donated to charity or that we start taking a register to keep track of who is being naughty!

All thoughts welcome though!

I'm on the list but plan to come on my motorbike, happy to come off if bikes can fit it without allocated places.

No - please leave yourself on the list as we still need to allocate you a space.

Not sure charging is the answer, how about take a register at the gate any no shows are suspended from attending the following two Services (or something along those lines) ?

+1

It is not difficult to remove yourself from the list.
