Thank you, the John in question used to be my postman, proper old school postie if you know what I mean, sorely missed since he retired!

Very few people have indicated a +1 so there will be at least 50+ entrance tickets unused therefore can these not be offered to numbers 100 to 150 on the list even if the PH parking area can not be used?

I'm afraid not - we don't specify that people have to tell us that they're bringing a plus one, so we can't be sure how many tickets remain to give away.

Effectively we have "up to 200" tickets to give away to go along with the 100 cars we can host.

I hope this makes sense... Although keep your eyes peeled for some more ways to get tickets to the show coming your way very soon!

Hmm... still at 182 on the list. Think the hopes are slim on this one.

Are you sending an email for those fortunate enough to be on the list to display? What time is the kick off? I'm looking forward to this.

Just as above, planning on meeting a mate to go to this - will we both be able to park in the car park separately on the one 'pair of tickets' or do we need to arrive in the same car?

Hi I'm still a few off the magic 100, but haven't given up hope yet. So, if I bring my son (37) and my grandson who is 7 am I correct in assuming that the 7 year old won't need a ticket, as the show's web page says that under 16s get in free?

You need to arrive in the same car really - we'll give out tickets (max of 2) to the occupants of cars that arrive for the SS.

To answer the other questions, an email will be going out tomorrow with the final joining instructions for the event.

Thanks

I am currently 102. If I make the 100 after tomorrow, will I still get final joining instructions?

HI JD,

in the past we have received joining instructions, with a PH Smiley to print off and times and directions etc.

I may have missed it, but I have had nothing so far. Are you intending to send these out?
Thanks for organising it

QBee

PS, I AM bringing a passenger, a TVR nut whose car is presently in a number of pieces being upgraded to a twin turbo LS engine

As an aside, with this in mind we'll be VERY disappointed if any of the 100 people on the list don't turn up... So we're going to be taking a register at the event to keep track of users that fail to arrive.

With this in mind, if you can't come please don't be selfish and deny another PHer from a great day out - make sure that you remove yourself from the list no later than the Tuesday before the event.

Thanks all

JD
Need a greater than 50% drop out rate so not overly hopeful, so will there be sanctions for the no shows and/or name and shame to make me feel better/worse?

Fancy a convoy Anthony ? If you're using the A1 all the way I could meet you at Brampton Hut.

Nice idea. We need to leave Brampton Hut at 8.30, as the show opens at 10.00. Will you be bringing a passenger? I am collecting Alex on my way down.

Watch it right up to the last minute. Many times before I have moved up tens of places in the last few hours, as people realise that life has got in the way. If it happens late on, and you want the joining instructions, email me via my profile and I will copy you in. I run my own business, so sleep is an optional extra.
The opening time is 10.00, so at a guess PH will want us there between 8.30 and 9.45. We can always gawp at each other's cars.
