Ginetta Sunday Service 20/12

Too many Sunday Services down south you say? Here's one that isn't!

Hopefully you will agree that 2015 has been a fantastic year for Sunday Services. We've had our most Sunday events in a year ever and collaborated with some fantastic motorsport events including Le Mans and Wales Rally GB. So you'll be pleased to hear there are even more confirmed for 2016!

So as we bid farewell to this year there's just time to arrange one more Service before we batten down the hatches for winter. On December 20 we will be holding our final 2015 Sunday Service at Leeds-based Ginetta, which will be kindly opening its doors to the PH community for the first time.

Ever since it was founded back in 1958, Ginetta has been a name associated with the motorsport industry both designing and manufacturing lightweight track cars. Today it has grown and developed its wares, offering four manufacturer championships. Furthermore, through its Ginetta Racing Drivers Club, it has helped establish routes from entry level racing through to Le Mans Prototypes.

Refreshments will be served on arrival within the warm confines of its Head Office, during which there will be a small address made by Sales Director Jamie Robinson, before a tour of the factory. Here you will get to see each stage of the car's production including engine assembly, engine dyno, chassis construction and carbon fibre moulding, with employees from each area on hand to answer your questions. Having visited already I can say the factory is well worth a look!

Ginetta will also be running a prize draw for all those that attend to win a 'fast track' pass to stage two of the want2race competition.

Full details are below, and the calendar link to sign up is here. We look forward to seeing you there!

I organised a factory tour to Ginetta a couple of years ago, well worth going to if you are in the area.

Blizzard or not, I'm in a Land Rover 110 as it is the only vehicle I have at the moment that works!
